For generations, women have fought for access to education. Today, they’re leading it.

At Alison, women are building courses, sharing their expertise, and shaping how millions grow their skills.

Their work travels across borders, industries, and time zones. It reaches people they may never meet, but it absolutely makes a difference.

Every lesson they've created has become a part of someone else’s success story.

This International Women's Day, we’re shining the spotlight on a few of them.

Meet #AlisonGraduate Shabana 🇮🇳

With limited access to affordable education, Shabana turned to free online learning — completing certified courses in Mental Health, Psychological First Aid, and faith-sensitive emotional support.

She didn’t stop at learning. She put it into action.

Today, she leads mental health awareness initiatives and provides peer support for women in her community, bringing both clinical knowledge and cultural understanding where it’s rarely accessible.

In 2025, her dedication earned her recognition as an IBR Achiever by the India Book of Records — with her Alison certificates serving as proof of her commitment.

Her story shows what free knowledge + determination can build.

Sometimes a workplace doesn’t feel wrong… just a little off.
That’s often a beige flag — something that sounds fine at first, but can hide bigger issues.

Here are a few common ones 👇

“We’re a family.”
Sounds supportive. Often means blurred boundaries and pressure to say yes to everything.

No onboarding.
Feels like independence from day one. Usually means the company doesn’t invest much in people.

Mandatory “fun.”
Team lunches and socials sound great… until you’re not allowed to opt out.

“Above and beyond” culture.
Hard work gets praised — but overwork can quietly become the expectation.

“Flexible” work.
Great in theory. Risky if it’s not clearly defined.

Of course, a beige flag for one person might be normal for another. The key is knowing what work environment actually suits you.

Trying to look capable at all costs is one of the biggest mistakes you can make at work.

Saying yes to everything can make you overloaded. And when you have too much on your plate, small issues can slowly turn into bigger ones.

That's where communicating clearly comes in. It's a skill you can use to mention limits, timelines, and trade-offs clearly.

Build it with our free communication courses 👉 https://tinyurl.com/cvvv29ba

Most business owners don't think of themselves as marketers.

They’re focused on delivering a great service, keeping customers happy, and making sure operations run smoothly. But in the middle of all that, something else is happening.

Every description written, every offer created, every response to feedback, every photo posted, every follow-up message sent – it all shapes how the business is seen.

That’s marketing at work.

And once you understand that, you can improve it. You can refine your messaging, price with confidence, promote strategically, and build stronger relationships with customers.

If you're already doing the work, why not improve the skills behind it?
