Today, the estate is a blend of 13 randomly-located four-bedroom houses and trees. There is also a main road on top of the estate, which is connected to a U-shaped private road leading to about the center of the area.
The plan for redevelopment illustrates that the housing estate is subject to a number of changes. While the main road is set to remain unaltered, the private one is planned to take the Y-shape, featuring a group of trees on the top and connecting the main road to a brand new flower garden in the center. There will also be two new features added flanking the private road, which are a lake (to its left) and a tennis court (to its right). Another development is the demolition of all the houses and the erection of various types of them β 1, 2 and 3-bedroom ones β surrounding the flower garden. Finally, for the convenience of dwellers, a brand new car park is projected to be added at the bottom of the estate.
Generally speaking, the houses will be demolished to make room for new ones with different capacities. Additionally, housing complex is going to be reformed with the addition of different new amenities, and the improvement of road and transport infrastructure. All these developments, however, are expected to come at the expense of felling a large number of trees in the estate.

Schools help prepare students for academic success and exams. Therefore, cookery, dressmaking and woodwork should not be taught at school, as they can be best taught parents and friends.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
One of the main objectives of schools is to help students prepare for exams and succeed academically. That's why, thereβs a view that cookery and craftsmanship classes like dressmaking and woodwork have no place in the school curriculum, for they can be taught most effectively by family and friends. I personally disagree with this view.
There are two main reasons why it might be argued that schools should exclude cookery and craftsmanship classes. One is that the school curriculum is already full, and making schoolchildren study these subjects puts an extra strain on them. An average schoolchild studies 5 classes per day, and they have to complete homework for each subject during off-school hours. Therefore, including a couple more subjects means more homework and an inadequate amount of rest. Another reason is the question of preference and interest. In other words, these subjects are likely of secondary importance, so forcing everyone to study them is a waste of resources and time. If necessary, school children can master these skills from their friends and/or parents.
Nevertheless, I am still in favor of teaching students how to cook, sew and make wooden objects at school. First and foremost, these subjects would provide a source distraction. The majority of subjects - including but not limited to math, physics and chemistry - are mentally demanding, but making something out of wood, for example, creates a diversion, thereby making knowledge acquisition more efficient. Secondly, albeit no less significantly, these extra subjects help prepare students for future life. Not all students, in fact, want to pursue their studies after school; some might not even know what do with their lives. By studying cooking, for instance, they can form an interest in it and become master chefs. Hence, the role of these subjects in students' academic and future life is essential.
In conclusion, although it might be said that school curriculum is already packed and that there are issues of interest when it comes to cookery and craftsmanship classes, I would argue that these subjects are a source of positive distraction and a facilitator for future job choice. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
While some argue people should travel abroad to discover about other countries and cultures, others suggest widespread access to online information and TV renders travelling unnecessary. I personally support the former view for two reasons.
True, the availability of information about other countries on the Internet and TV can mean that no travelling is needed to explore the world. Unlike in the past, people now have instant and free access to an extensive range of information about virtually any country: whether it be its culture or tourist attractions, one is more often than not guaranteed to find relevant insights and references online about another country. More interesting is the fact that such information is available in video formant more than ever, meaning people can visually experience the culture and beauty of another country in the comforts of their homes.
I, on the other hand, adamantly support travelling abroad for an optimal and enjoyable learning experience of another country. First of all, visiting another country in person allows the traveler to have a first-hand experience of that country. Compared to the vicarious experience of learning about another country online or on TV, people develop thorough insights into a particular country by exploring its culture and lifestyles through their own lenses. As a result, they gain a deeper understanding of that country. Additionally, traveling itself can be a gratifying experience seeing as people can make lasting memories by taking photos and immersing themselves in a new culture and its context. This way, not only do they acquire new insights into another country, but also have an opportunity to indulge themselves in an enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, ease of access to information online and on TV has made it unnecessary to travel abroad to find out about other countries, yet I implore people to consider travelling for ideal and fulfilling learning outcomes.
