Bitrefill has released a detailed report on the security incident that occurred on March 1, confirming that the attack was carried out by North Korea’s Lazarus Group (also known as Bluenoroff).

The attackers initially compromised an employee’s laptop, obtained legacy credentials, and escalated privileges to access production systems, including portions of the database and hot wallets.

USR stablecoin by ResolvLabs has been exploited for $80M in total within the span of one hour.
