A French couple in their 50s was forced to transfer €900,000 (~$1M) in Bitcoin during a fake police home invasion.

The incident occurred on Monday in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt, west of Paris. Three suspects posing as police officers entered the home, threatened the couple with a knife, and forced the husband to transfer the cryptocurrency.

USR stablecoin by ResolvLabs has been exploited for $80M in total within the span of one hour.

The attacker first stole $50M and dumped the tokens, causing the price to drop to $0.25 before quickly recovering to $0.79. Shortly after, a second attack occurred, likely by the same attacker, this time minting an additional $30 million.
