Note : Windows of type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY aren't trusted.

Untrusted touches are blocked by default on devices that run Android 12 or higher. To allow untrusted touches, run the following command in a terminal window:

A specific app :

root : su -c "am compat disable BLOCK_UNTRUSTED_TOUCHES com.example.app"

adb : adb shell am compat disable BLOCK_UNTRUSTED_TOUCHES com.example.app

All apps If you'd still like to see a Logcat message warning when a touch would be blocked, use 1 instead of 0 :

root : su -c "settings put global block_untrusted_touches 0"

adb : adb shell settings put global block_untrusted_touches 0

It's finally December and what better way to start the month off than having bricked phone :D

This is now officially the second brick on oss.

Had left it unattended to charge for about 20 minutes in the morning while away having breakfast only to return to a dead phone.

I can no longer recommend this device and as such, retract all my previous recommendations. Get a better device ASAP.

As for me, I don't have another phone at hand and probably will not have any for another few months while i try to claim warranty. (there are no service centres anywhere nearby)

I'll be logging in less frequently and will only be available for a short time.

Takeaways:
NONE OF THE DEVICES ARE SAFE.
NONE OF THE FIRMWARES ARE SAFE.
DO NOT leave the phone unattended while charging.
Get a better device if you can, even though the refund value of this phone is terrible.

As for the kernel releases, i won't be doing major changes as i don't have any devices to test with / use as of now. Expect fewer updates till i get a replacement.
Was gonna work on it this weekend but life had other plans with me so uh yeah.
