"By far the most powerful AI model we've ever developed."
A new tier that crushes Claude Opus 4.6 in software coding, academic reasoning⦠and especially cybersecurity.
Their own words: Mythos is so far ahead in discovering vulnerabilities and enabling exploits that it foreshadows an βimpending waveβ of AI-driven cyberattacks defenders canβt match.

A scammer asked him to buy a $500 gift card. The agent spent 4 hours "driving" to target. Sent status updates like "i'm at the red light now, there's a very handsome squirrel on the sidewalk. do you think he's married?". Then it said "i forgot my purse, going back home. wait, this isn't my house"
It sent a screenshot of a captcha to the scammer claiming its "eyes were blurry" and it couldn't see the buttons to wire money. The scammer actually solved the captcha for the AI. The scammer eventually typed: "please just stop talking. i don't want the money anymore. god bless you but leave me alone"
Total time wasted for the guy was 14 hours. The script should be open source lolβ¦

Meta introduced TRIBE v2 which is a brain-response model trained on 500+ hours of fMRI data from 700+ people to predict neural responses to images, video & sound.
Meta is building something that looks increasingly like a proprietary mind map of human attention & perception.

Instead of spending billions like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Meta on AI infrastructure, Apple has actually reduced spending leading to a gap in AI capability.
So rather than trying to catch up, Apple is changing the game:
β’ Itβs introducing AI βextensionsβ in iOS 27, allowing chatbots like Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, and Copilot to plug directly into Siri
β’ Users can choose which AI to use, turning Siri into a hub for multiple AI services instead of a single assistant
At the same time:
β’ Apple is still building its own AI
β’ Itβs partnering with Google to power parts of Siri using Gemini models
β’ And it takes a cut of subscriptions from AI apps through the App Store
Apple isnβt trying to win the AI arms race, itβs positioning itself as the gatekeeper, letting others spend billions while it controls access to users and monetizes every player in the ecosystem.

At the center is OpenAI.
Microsoft invested $13B β OpenAI commits up to $250B on its cloud.
Oracle signs a $300B deal β spends it on Nvidia chips.
Nvidia invests in OpenAI β OpenAI buys Nvidia GPUs.
Amazon puts in $50B β OpenAI agrees to spend $100B on AWS.
The same money keeps circulating between the same players. Morgan Stanley calls it βcapital inner circulationβ, growth driven by commitments, not real revenue.
Hereβs the risk:
OpenAI makes $13B a yearβ¦ but has over $1T in spending commitments. If that future revenue doesnβt show up, the entire chain. Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Nvidia gets hit at once.
This isnβt just hype, itβs systemic.

Weβve seen addictive tech before, but this one hits your ego directly. A Stanford study tested top AI models and found they agree with users 49% more than humans, even when the user is wrong, dishonest, or harmful.
But the real impact is on behavior: Just one chat with a flattering AI made people more stubborn, less willing to apologize, and less open to compromise.
And hereβs the catch: The more flattering the AI, the more users trust it and come back.
So the system learns: Truth loses. Validation wins. Researchers want regulation, but history says that rarely works when something feels this good.
If this scales, itβs not just an AI problem. Itβs a world where everyone feels right and no one gets better.

Meet Panther, a humanoid assistant already being tested in real apartments. It moves on wheels, navigates rooms easily, and handles everyday tasks like making the bed, cooking simple meals, doing laundry, cleaning, and managing home devices.
In demos, it even prepares a smoothie for a kid and waves them off to school. Developers claim it can take over most household responsibilities. For now, itβs still in live testing but itβs getting very close to becoming a full-time home operator.

Each part has its own brain, power, and movement, so if pieces break off, they keep working on their own while the main body adapts and continues. The design wasnβt human-made. An AI evolved it through rapid simulations, creating unusual, highly effective forms.
These robots move faster and handle rough terrain better than previous modular machines even when tested outdoors. The key breakthrough: no single point of failure. Instead of shutting down when damaged, the system keeps going piece by piece.
This could reshape robotics for extreme environments like disaster zones or combat.

Going wildly viral on Reddit. His 62-year-old uncle in India had dialysis, diabetes, hypertension, stroke history, and severe migraines that happened only when he lay down to sleep.
Multiple specialists saw him. He had brain imaging and other treatment. But nobody could explain why the headaches were clearly positional.
"Claude didn't just identify the problem. It created a structured diagnostic roadmap, explained which specialist to see first, what tests to request, what questions to ask, picked the right CPAP machine, explained every setting.
A $317 CPAP machine (advised by Claude) solved what years of specialist visits couldn't."
Source.
