On October 7th at approx 5:30 AM a rocket barage from the Gaza Strip started towards Israel, including Tel Aviv, this went on day and night during witch multiple impacts were reported.

At around 6:00 the first reports of infiltration were reported and videos start to appear of Hamas Fighters in pick up trucks near the Gaza border firing at the Israeli Police force as well as marine clashes in the Mediterranean.

Graphic media surfaced of militants kidnapping Israeli wounded people including civilians (including a confirmed german tourist), bringing them in gaza and celebrating. Multiple civilians killed in the streets of bordering Israel cities, many cars getting shot.

Meanwhile Hamas was targeting Israel military positions and critical infrastructure, including power plants, with rockets, commercial drones dropping explosive payload (Ukraine style) and disabling IDF defences, including a Merkava IV MBT, paragliders (previously shown in exercises) and a bulldozer which was used to tear down border gates and infrastructure. During the military raids , many armored vehicles were captured.

IDF declared state of war and started to respond with its air force both on advancing militants and residential buildings in which military targets are supposedly located, anti terrorist units started clearing streets. Heavy equipment started being transported to the strip, including artillery units. Reservists are being deployed to reinforce the south of the country.

It is now being reported that fighting has started from Lebanon with mortar and rockets.

Blue indicates Israeli territories cleared of Hamas terrorists.

Militants are still present in the cities of Ofakim, Magen and Sderot, cut off from the Gaza Strip, as well as in three border areas.

Stoltenberg confirms Ukraine will join NATO: "Ukraine will join nato. It is not a question of if, but of when".

Approximately 15% of Asia's traffic is westbound, with 80% of that traffic passing through these submarine cables in the Red Sea."

The reason for the damage is currently unknown.

France is creating an alliance of countries ready to deploy their soldiers in Ukraine. Politico reports this

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet suggested that foreign troops could, for example, help Ukraine in mine clearance.

“It’s not Russia that tells us how we should help Ukrainians in the coming months or years. It is not she who should set red lines,” said the French minister.
