In this work, we cover more than 100 recent deep learning based image segmentation works, grouped into 10 categories.
We discuss the proposed architecture, advantages, and quantitative performance of each work. We also introduce more than 20 popular image segmentation dataset. In the end we talk about some of the future directions and challenges.
