The developer of the Claude AI model is preparing for its highly anticipated stock market debut. Details from a leaked draft prospectus (S-1), which the company filed confidentially with regulators, have revealed key numbers and facts about the upcoming listing:

1) Timeline: The IPO has been tentatively moved from October to November 2026 (following the US midterm elections) to include full third-quarter financial results.

2) Massive Valuation: Investment bankers are aiming for a valuation of around $2 trillion. For context, Anthropic was valued at $965 billion during a private funding round in May 2026.

3) Explosive Revenue Growth: In 2025, Anthropic's revenue surged 12-fold to nearly $4.6 billion. In Q2 2026, revenue jumped to $11.5 billion, and its annualized revenue run rate (ARR) crossed $65 billion in July, driven by the massive success of its Claude Code tool.
