Alright Guys i want you to hear me out on this
Recently regarding Evolution-X's announcement on them collaborating with a sketchy third party involved in card scams etc which is really concerning to say the least.
I dont think they are kidding either for 1st April considering the lead dev's actual financial issues that he goes through. I have seen Evolution-X getting heavy pushes to source whenever he is active. He indeeed does work a lot for Evo and its mind blowing.
I dont understand the hate around him or the rom. I mean yeah people say shit but i dont really get it. Either way i have been planning to drop Evolution-X GSI and rom for pdx206 for a long time now. This is due to a reason above
Also due to reasons such as me being a human. I am a 16 year old "graduating in one year" student so like uhhh? yeah i think you get the rest.
I am really sorry to those on XDA whom i promised to maintain evo for as long as it lasts. I just cant do it. I really liked evo but it has turned into something weird i dont like having on my phone or trying to build for. Considering the amount of over customizable features it has. I dont like that ngl
This partnership may not affect the way Evolution-X operates but i cant anymore
i'll still maintain voltageos and elixir for pdx206. I'll keep maintaining elixir gsi (im really tryna fix booting issues trust me)
Hope you all understand.

i have said this. You gotta realize people dont do this as a job. They do this out of passion and because the community supports them. E.g. if im maintaining a gsi that i use for myself thats a reason for me to keep maintaining it. i will share it with the community and help them as much as i can. We are not paid and i dont think ever will be. If that were true we would even skip the patches required for other devices. Come on man.

The main problem with custom GSI is that their maintainers say that I will make them for myself and yes, I will share them with you! They do not provide good support!
If you make it for yourself, don't share it.

A new build of elixir was uploaded. with minor changes. Although there was one flag dropped from fstab so it might require a clean flash. Backup your data before flashing. I promise this is the last clean flash required before QPR3. hope you understand. enjoy the new build! (powerhint was tweaked etc.)
Hey there guys. This group is indeed very small but about the drama around elixir.
If you dont know whats going on. Basically this guy

Posted this tweet show casing a piece of code by reverse engineering elixir's code. (i think so the essence app)
Well yeah its quite brutal i agree with you and it might be rushed and hence why such a brutal thing was put into place.
However please note that this piece of code is only triggered when the conditions are met. And that is only when that specific prop is set.
You should know anything you do yourself is highly upon your own responsibility and its not the rom's fault
Lets see now. Discord is closed source too isnt it? It has a specific set of rules. Using any client modifications leads to tos breakage. And you know that results into a ban.
Then why are you guys going around elixir for this shit? It doesnt make sense
For the users concerned that an external malware could set the prop. Please know the prop can only be set using root permissions inside the phone. A magisk module could indeed hide such a prop but then a magisk module also has permissions to wipe all of your phone's partitions including the bootloader partition.
I just dont get it why the internet is like this. You guys dont even realize that elixir meanwhile some guys do not like it. The work behind it is just..
The lead pays for a high speed server. It takes such less time to compile builds. Then they also have designers and etc. Its not like your average rom Like evolution-X that easily cherry-picks
You had seen the announcement of crdroid going private but they didnt. Imagine if they did. What would yall think? Elixir is closed source so so random ahh dev doesnt copy paste the ui and shit and call it their own OS. You literally dont have any idea.
In the end yeah the wiping esims and external storage is very harsh behavior. I would maybe like them to do something like cause a harmless boot loop that would go away on unsetting the prop
The community's behavior is the exact reasons why many good roms left the market. Screw you android community (good guys exist too.)
