🔧 A small update to AG Analytics

While troubleshooting an issue where the analytics script was being blocked, I decided to tweak the tracker's name.
tracker.js has been renamed to widget.js.

The old /tracker.js hasn't gone anywhere—it keeps working, so sites where it’s already installed shouldn't break. However, new installations will now use /widget.js right from the start.

I also updated the snippet generation, the README, and the documentation regarding custom domains (subdomain.domain.com).

In short, there’s no urgent need to migrate existing sites; you can switch them over gradually at your own pace.
It’s a minor change, but these are the kinds of things you have to do when a project moves beyond just "internal testing" 🙂
🧩 Found the culprit behind the broken statistics collection

It looks like I initially headed down the wrong path.

Renaming /collect to /event and tracker.js to widget.js, or setting up a custom domain, didn't solve the issue. It turned out the names had nothing to do with it.

The browser classifies both event and ping requests as ping requests. This happens because navigator.sendBeacon() is used.

Some blockers—including Brave Shields and specific uBlock Origin lists—can block these requests entirely, regardless of the domain or filename.

In the end, I replaced sendBeacon() with a standard:

fetch(..., { keepalive: true })

Now the browser classifies the requests as fetch/XHR rather than ping.

Long story short, the problem wasn't what the analytics were named, but how they sent the data 😅

It also explains why my previous attempts didn't make any difference.
🪙 Now, a bit about CoinLumaBot

One of the projects that has been part of AGTEAM for a long time is @CoinLumaBot.

Its purpose is incredibly simple: to quickly check the current cryptocurrency rate without opening an exchange, a website, or a separate app.

You select the coin you need, and you get the up-to-date price. It supports BTC, ETH, and other cryptocurrencies.

No trading, wallets, or unnecessary features. Just open Telegram → check the rate → carry on with your day.

These are exactly the kind of small tools I enjoy creating: a single, specific task that the bot handles quickly and without any fuss.

👉 @CoinLumaBot — for those times when you just need to know what your crypto is worth right now.
🚀 AG Analytics v0.2.0-beta.1

I’ve rolled out a new release of AG Analytics.

In this version, I added custom events, period comparison, UTM campaign tracking, bot filtering, automatic cleanup of old data, and a few UI tweaks.

I also specifically fixed an issue with ad blockers—I finally got to the bottom of why some statistics were being lost.

The release is available now: ☁️ v0.2.0-beta.1

🚀 AG Analytics v0.3.0-beta.1

Just rolled out a new release.

This time, I focused mostly on the interface and usability:
— added separate statistics for bots and crawlers;
— added search functionality for search queries;
— separated the views and unique visitors charts;
— added drag-and-drop block reordering;
— properly optimized the dashboard for mobile devices;
— added a site favicon and a manual refresh button;
— fixed a few minor issues related to data and site deletion.

No database schema changes were made, so you can simply deploy the update over the current version.

🚀 AG Analytics v0.3.1-beta.1

Rolled out a small but important release.

Removed Workers KV from the project and moved the request cache to D1. The load on KV had increased noticeably after adding new dashboards in the previous version, so I decided to address this now before it became a problem.

At the same time, I increased the cache TTL from 15 to 30 minutes and added automatic cleanup of old entries.

Updating requires a new database migration.

I’ve started a small project for Linux: Proton Drive GUI.

It is a minimal graphical interface for the official Proton Drive CLI. I wanted a proper way to use Proton Drive—via a window—instead of constantly having to use the terminal.

As of now, you can already:

• browse folders;
• upload files;
• download files and folders;
• log in via the browser.

The project is still in its early stages, so features are limited. Future plans include file deletion and renaming, drag-and-drop support, search, sharing, upload progress indicators, and an AppImage build.

It is written in Python using PySide6 and currently supports Linux only.

I’ve released the first beta of the Proton Drive GUI — v0.1.0b1.

You can now use Proton Drive properly via a graphical interface:

• view files and folders;
• dedicated photos section;
• upload and download;
• create folders;
• rename and move to Trash;
• log in and log out;
• desktop launcher — no need for the terminal after installation.

It is currently a beta release: the project is Linux-only, there are limitations, and not everything is implemented yet. However, the core functionality is working, so I decided to share it for others to try out rather than keeping it in private development.

I’ll continue refining it over time. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome 🙂

Let's continue with the Proton Drive GUI.

This update is quite packed with improvements:

the installer now automatically handles dependencies and installs the official Proton Drive CLI;
added upload and download progress indicators;
added folder creation, renaming, and moving items to the Trash;
fixed a crash that occurred after logging out;
replaced system icons with custom ones to ensure the interface looks right across different themes;
the installer now includes a workaround for the "Illegal instruction" error on older CPUs.

The project is still in its early stages, but it’s gradually evolving into a proper GUI rather than just a "window sitting on top of the CLI" 😄

Notable updates this time around:

- drag-and-drop for file uploads;
- full Trash functionality — view, restore, and delete;
- added a "clear Trash" option;
- added breadcrumbs for folder navigation;
- fixed the toolbar for small window sizes — buttons no longer silently disappear.

I’m gradually checking off the essentials needed for daily use. The project is still in beta, but the user experience is steadily improving 🙂

📊 AG Analytics — v0.4.0-beta.1

A fairly major update for AG Analytics.

What’s changed:

📅 added a custom date range selector with a calendar;
🔗 referrers now display as full URLs rather than just domains;
🌐 new site selection dropdown;
✏️ you can now edit the site name in addition to the domain;
🛡 panels now have dedicated error states—a single failed request no longer breaks the entire dashboard;
🐛 fixed several minor bugs related to time periods, data display, and Custom Events.

It’s particularly satisfying that we didn’t need to pull in an external library for the calendar—it was built entirely within the project.

No database migration is required; the schema remains unchanged.

Proton Drive GUI — v0.1.0b4

This time, the focus was on the interface and file handling:

- 🗂 completely redesigned the grid view — it’s now a proper grid with cards;
- 🎨 distinct icons for folders, photos, videos, and files;
- 📁 drag & drop now supports entire folders, not just individual files;
- 🖼 actual file names and sizes are now displayed in the Photos view;
- 🧭 simplified navigation — replaced the always-visible path bar with a compact "Go to path…" option;
- 🕒 dates are now displayed in local time using a more human-readable format;
- 📜 added an MIT license requiring a link to the original repository to be preserved.

The project is still in beta and Linux-only, but the interface is starting to look much more like a proper desktop application rather than just a GUI wrapper for the CLI 😄

🧦 Proxy Checker — The Project Has Been Revived

Some projects just gather dust on GitHub until one day you think, “Actually, that was a pretty useful tool…” 😄

That’s what happened with Proxy Checker.

The old project got a second life and was almost completely reimagined:

🖥 A full-fledged desktop GUI built with Tkinter;
🌐 HTTP, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5;
⚡️ Multi-step proxy verification;
🕵️ Anonymity level detection;
🌍 GeoIP and country flags;
🔎 search, filters, and sorting of results;
📋 convenient proxy copying;
💾 export to CSV/TXT;
⏹️ ability to stop the check at any time;
📦 ready-to-run builds for Windows, Linux, and macOS;
🐧 AppImage for Linux—no Python installation required.

Note that nothing is saved automatically—results are exported only at the user’s request.

The project is back up and running. We’ll see where it goes from here.

Proxy Checker v2.6.0 — Virtualized Results Table

This release fixes the remaining slowdown with large result sets: the results table no longer creates a live widget for every single proxy.

✨ What's new:

🚀 Virtualized results table — previously, each result row was built from ~9 real Tk widgets, so 1000+ live proxies meant 9000+ widgets on screen at once, and rendering got visibly slower the more was found. The table now keeps a small fixed pool of row widgets (just enough to cover the visible area) and reuses/repositions them while scrolling instead of creating a new set per row. Rendering cost now depends on the size of the window, not on how many proxies were found.

⚡️ Off-screen rows are free — while a scan is running and you're looking at the top of the list, rows appended further down (out of view) no longer touch any widgets at all; they only show up once you actually scroll to them.

🧵 Raised how many queued results are processed per UI tick back up, since rendering is cheap now regardless of batch size.

🐧 Proton Drive GUI — v1.0.3

A small but useful release—this time, the focus was on the AppImage and the build.

What’s been fixed:

📦 The AppImage now includes the necessary Qt/XCB libraries;
🖥 The app should run even on minimal Linux systems without these libraries;
🔍 The AppImage additionally searches for libraries in usr/bin/_internal;
⚙️ We fixed the CI build—the build script now runs via bash.

In short, this release is mainly about one thing: ensuring that the finished AppImage simply runs without requiring a manual search for missing libraries 😄

The official proton-drive CLI still needs to be installed separately and added to your PATH.

🪙 CoinLumaBot — v3.1.0

A small but logical change to @CoinLumaBot.
I’ve removed the daily automatic report—now the stats don’t come on their own and don’t create unnecessary noise.

What’s changed:

📊 /stats has been replaced with /status;
🔐 /status is available only to the administrator;
⏱️ Stats are now retrieved on demand;
🧹 The daily Cron job has been completely removed;
📄 The documentation has been updated.

The bot’s regular commands haven’t changed. The database also doesn’t require migration.
