📮 When you look @ Nifty Index, it seems to be holding steady around its highs.However, most portfolios have been bleeding for the past 2 weeks.Just did some simple number crunching- ran a screen on stocks greater than Rs.1000 cr market cap.

As of today there are 908 cos in India with a market cap of greater than Rs.1000 crs.While the index ( Nifty) is down just about 1.2% from its 52 week high, lets c what is happening in the broader markets.

Of the 908 cos with a market cap greater than Rs.1000 cr,
- 157 stocks have corrected more than 30% from thr respective 52 week highs

- 410 stocks have corrected more than 20% from thr respective 52 week highs

-600 stocks have corrected more than 15% from thr 52 week highs.

No wonder the broader market is giving a lot more pain to investors and traders, as against the Nifty index, which seems to be holding steady due to certain heavyweights doing well.
