Dragonchain is a well esablished US based blockchain project born in 2014 under the hood of The Walt Disney Company. Yes that Walt Disney, is there another one? In 2016 it was spinned off The Company and its code was entirely open-sourced.

A former Disney employee, Joe Roets, was put in charge of both the non profit organization and the commercial entity behind Dragonchain. It is absolutely not "yet another blockchain project", it has unique features like validation nodes without a mainnet, enterprise grade blockchain as a service for business already working, patented interchain operability protocol actually compatible with Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO and ETC mainnets. They are not kidding at all as you see.

In 2017 they raised $13M through ICO. In the last year the price consolidated around the 500 sats zone, with dips close to 300 sats. In around 15 days (July 4th, 2020) a documentary featuring the Dragonchain project will be televised on US mainstream Discovery Channel. They have won a general business award in Seattle in 2019 and as a blockchain startup they consequently raised a lot of interest in business people still outside crypto.
