Reminder: No such thing as a virus or cold season. What happens is that, since we are group animals, so to speak, our bodies, align in timing a cleanse, when we live together with the same people or are around the same people often (like at work or school or at home etc), just like women's periods start at the same time if they're around each other often/regularly.
The Cleanse is basically the body detoxing the mucus that has built up, from the foods we eat that create mucus in the system.
The fever will help bring out the mucus, runny nose, cough, all help get the mucus out of the body.

That said, bacteria and parasites can be the cause for fevers too. But it's much rarer. Natural antibiotics will work only if not consumed regularly. Like garlic & onions. Hence, it's important to only eat them as medicine and not regularly. So there's no tolerance buildup.
