Footy great Jason Akermanis has questioned whether his wife's recent breast cancer diagnosis was linked to her Covid vaccination.

The Brownlow medallist's wife, Megan Legge, 43, underwent a double mastectomy two weeks ago and will likely have to receive radiation down the track.

Akermanis said he believed his wife was low-risk due to the fact she doesn't drink alcohol and is fit and healthy.

'It happened straight after she had the Covid jab, and she felt a lump,' Akermanis told the Herald Sun.

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State announced the death of a freshman football player from Tupelo.

The player is Samuel Westmoreland, 19.

The cause of death has not been announced.

Capt. Brett Watson of the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department said no foul play is suspected.

Piper Delaney Anderson - daughter, sister, and beloved friend to so many - unexpectedly passed away in Stillwater, OK on Oct 6th, 2022 at the young age of 20 years old.  She was born on Pi Day (3/14/2002) in Tulsa, OK.  Piper developed a blood clot that traveled to her lungs causing cardiac arrest.

Piper graduated from Jenks High School with honors carrying a 4.0 GPA in 2020.  She was currently a Junior at OSU studying architecture. She was in the top 20% in her class and very respected by her classmates and professors.

A “healthy” 28-year-old man passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, four months after marrying his childhood sweetheart, and condolences have been pouring in. Friends who were shocked by the news of his passing described Jeanluke Galea Duca as “mature,” “quiet,” and “kindhearted.” They also offered their condolences to Rebecca, his new wife. According to a friend and usher Sheldon Scicluna, she had tried to contact him late in the morning because he was working from home, and when he did not respond, she went there with his father and they discovered him dead.

Sheldon declared, “He was a healthy man. “He did regular exercise and did not smoke. So, we are unable to accept it. I will always remember him. He has lost a lot “. It’s unclear what caused the death.

Drew Strasser, a tennis player from Rochester, Indiana, who was 18 years old, suffered a cardiac arrest right after he finished his warm-up laps.

“We were just shocked. It didn’t seem real. He’s never had any passing-out moments before,” Laneia Strasser said. “He’s never had any signs of heart issues. It just completely came out of the blue.”

“They told us, ‘No he didn’t have a heart attack. It was that he was in sudden cardiac arrest,” Laneia Strasser said. “It was very traumatic. Scary, scary, scary morning.”

His parents couldn’t believe what was happening. Drew Strasser always participated in sports and never had any health problems. Just three weeks earlier, he’d visited his doctor for a physical, and nothing abnormal with his heart was detected.

A Hudson Valley teen is being remembered for his "everlasting smile" after his sudden death.

Dutchess County resident Jack Aidan Strehl, age 16, of Arlington, died on Friday, Oct. 14. A cause of death was not provided.

Known as a hardworking member of the maintenance crews at The Links at Union Vale, Jack always impressed coworkers with his work ethic for such a young man, his obituary said.

In July of 2017, at the age of 11, Jack earned his Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do at Telesco’s Martial Arts after only five years of training.

A junior at Arlington High School, he was on the track & field team as a thrower for the shot put and discus.

Professional wrestling star Kevin Nash addressed the tragic passing of his son, Tristen, Monday in his “Kliq This” podcast.

Nash said that his son died last Wednesday after suffering a seizure Tuesday evening. Nash said he found Tristen, 26, on his bedroom floor.

“He had what they thought was a seizure, and the seizure caused a cardiac arrest,” Nash said.

“He was basically dead on the floor with the EMTs around him. They got him back, and they got him in the ambulance and they tried to save his life.”

Nash, 63, said that he and Tristen decided to quit drinking cold turkey, and said his son had not been feeling well since.

FAMILY and friends have paid tribute to a Year 7 pupil at Alcester Grammar School who died unexpectedly.

Annabel Greenhalgh, who started at the school this September and lived in Warwick Gates, died unexpectedly on Friday October 14.

A statement from Annabel’s parents reads: “Craig and I are completely and utterly devastated to announce the passing of Annabel on Friday October 14.

“The magnitude of our shock, grief and complete emptiness is unimaginable. She was the centre of our universe. Our hearts are shattered.”

15-year-old Euan McNamara, who was a year 11 pupil at St Mary's College, in Crosby, died after collapsing in the restaurant on Saturday, October 22. Euan was with family members after a shopping trip when he collapsed at around 5.50pm.

Despite immediate medical intervention by off-duty medics, Euan later sadly passed away in hospital.

BRITISH boxing champion Cam Shaw has drowned aged 25 while snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

York-born Shaw was on holiday in Cairns with his girlfriend and was on an organised expedition at the time of his death on Monday.

The boxer was described as "a strong swimmer" by dad Rod, with the family awaiting the outcome of an investigation.

Rod said, "We don't know exactly what has happened, but we know that Cam has drowned and the investigation is still on-going.

Shaw's dad continued: "He was a fit lad. He was a professional boxer and fought four fights. He won them all, but then Covid struck and he had to put it to one side."

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark – The family of 18-year-old Victoria Moody, who was a senior cheerleader at North Little Rock High School, say her memory will live on after she unexpectedly died Sunday evening.

Moody’s older sister, Brooke McCarty, says her sister was perfectly healthy until Sunday evening when she was taken to the hospital by her father Brian Moody because Moody said she wasn’t feeling well.

“She apparently had a pulmonary embolism that was just too far advanced to stop it,” said McCarthy.

The family of Moody says that she would have graduated this year, she was also on the High School Varsity Cheerleading and competition team.

Richard Allen Rowe, who was a Democratic candidate for the Florida House of Representatives for District 23, passed away on October 2021 at 41 years old – just months after his Pfizer shot.

Rowe shared a photo of his Covid-19 Vaccination Card on social media.  According to the document, Rowe got the vaccine on August 12, 2021.

Then, on November 1, 2021, an apparent Facebook post was shared by Travis Akers, Rowe's friend. According to Akers, Rowe had suddenly died while walking his dog.

A daughter has spoken of her anguish after her mum died while celebrating her 46th birthday in Turkey.

Mum-of-four Clare Hugman from Lowestoft was on a two-week break with her husband Malcolm when she died of a heart attack.

Daughter Kailey Hugman, 25, said her family have been left "in pieces" since her death on October 17.

Martin Cleaver, 43, from Widnes, went to Body FX gym in Runcorn, with his brother, Phil, 40, on August 17 after they finished work for the day.

The two of them were taking turns weightlifting when Martin experienced chest pain. Phil said: "Martin had just finished his set and sat on the bench, and I started mine. I heard him say 's**t' so I turned around and saw him holding his chest. He then fell straight forward off the bench.

Martin was taken to Whiston Hospital by paramedics, and was pronounced dead, with doctors telling the family he had a heart attack.

A mum-of-three from Surrey suddenly died after she was helping one of her children get ready for school.

Michaela Bateman, from Frimley, was taken to hospital after feeling ill on the morning of September 29, but later died from a pulmonary embolism.

Michaela was taken to Frimley Park Hospital where she suffered a cardiac arrest soon after arriving and staff told the devastating news that she was 'gravely ill'.

Michaela's mother said "They worked on her for about an hour and a half but they had to turn the machine off as there was no more they could do for her. She died from a catastrophic pulmonary embolism."
