Dove Cameron, l'interprete di Ruby in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., della futura Bubbles in Powerpuff Girls e voce di diversi personaggi animati nella Marvel, come Gwen Stacy in UltimateSpider-Man e Ghost Spider in Marvel Rising, ha rivelato che le sono arrivate diverse richieste per tornare ad interpretare un personaggio dei fumetti, e se la Marvel la richiamasse per tornare nel MCU, accetterebbe subito!

Dove ha anche detto di essere una grande fan della Marvel, dell'azione e dei fumetti, quindi sarebbe un sogno tornare a farne parte, in qualsiasi ruolo!

Da una recente intervista con un membro del team Marvel, è emerso che ci sono molte possibilità di rivedere alcuni personaggi che vedremo in 'What If...?', apparire in un secondo momento anche in nuovi spin-off live action, come lo sono stati Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. e Agent Carter

Proprio il personaggio di Captain Carter sembrerebbe essere il più promettente (interpretata ovviamente da Hayley Atwell), ma tutto dipenderà dai feedback dei fan della serie animata
