You'll be able to install macOS 26 on your Hackintosh, and this'll probably be the last year of Intel MacBooks being supported.

You can now try Microsoft’s new Start menu for Windows 11
Microsoft is now allowing Windows 11 testers to try out a new, larger Start menu that includes a scrollable interface, new views, and more customizability. An early version of the new Start menu first started showing up in Windows 11 builds in April, followed by Microsoft’s official announcement in May. Today’s Dev Channel release lets you try it out officially for the first time. Microsoft has also made the Start menu larger based on the screen size of your device or monitor.
There’s also a new mobile device button on the Start menu that lets you expand or collapse the Phone Link interface that appears alongside the Start menu. Microsoft is also allowing Windows 11 users to choose what lock screen widgets appear, allowing you to add or remove widgets and rearrange them for the lock screen.

Mozilla Discontinues Pocket, Fakespot, Deep Fake Detector, and Orbit
Around last week, Mozilla announced that Pocket, the read-it-later service, will shut down on July 8, 2025, with article deletion by October 8. Fakespot, which detects fake product reviews, is also being sunsetted.
Now, the Deep Fake Detector Firefox extension, designed to identify AI-generated text, has a shutdown notice for June 26, 2025. Mozilla's privacy-focused AI experiment, Orbit, is also being discontinued by June 26. Orbit's private, self-contained setup can be replaced with the new sidebar built directly into Firefox.

Denmark's Ministry of Digitization Plans Microsoft Software Transition
The Danish Ministry of Digitization, led by Caroline Stage, is currently planning to reduce the ministry's reliance on Microsoft's Office suite. Starting next month, half of the ministry's employees will begin using LibreOffice as an alternative.
This initiative aligns with the minister's desire to lessen Danish dependence on major tech companies, especially those based in the United States. The ministry aims to completely phase out the Office package by this autumn, assuming the transition goes smoothly.

AOSP might get discontinued soon
According to someone from GrapheneOS, Android Open Source Project, also known as AOSP, might get closed sourced or discontinue soon. This is followed by Google not releasing the Pixel device trees and some hardware related trees after the Android 16 release.
Android is potentially about to be separated from Google in the US courts, and the new company might close source AOSP.
Please note that this has not been confirmed by Google.

Since many people said "omg android is over now the only option is postmarketos" so I decided to try postmarketOS on my Redmi Note 6 Pro (tulip), let's see how it goes.
According to the features in the website, postmarketOS is indeed very usable on this phone.
Can't wait to try out the Android replacement 🥰

AOSP is not going away
Seang Chau, VP and GM, Android Platform has posted on X saying that AOSP is not going anywhere, and that it was built on a foundation of "being an open platform for device implementations, SoC vendors, and instruction set architectures."
However, he has not said anything about why Pixel device trees have not been released.

Current progress: It's outputting some logs and then suddenly going black (device is on but display is blank)
I ain't no expert in all this, Google searches for this device didn't help either (saw another user mention this problem but no solution)
Any help would be appreciated, but I'll still read troubleshooting docs and try to figure something out.

Final update: Got it working on Mi A1 (Tissot)
Yeah, so instead of flashing it on tulip, I decided to flash it on tissot instead which has a slight issue: a little bit of ghost touch at the very bottom of the screen. The ghost touch is kinda ignorable. (at least on Android)
Talking about postmarketOS, yeah I don't think it's really that great for this device: keeps lagging, rendering issues, etc. Is it because I'm using GNOME mobile? I have no idea. But i won't really prefer daily driving this on my Tissot.
This doesn't mean postmarketOS is bad, it works great for some phones, but it'll take a really long time to optimise it for all devices and become an alternative of Android.
But yeah, no more updates on postmarketOS from my side, I'm installing LineageOS on this phone.

The Browser Company has released Dia Browser in Beta
The Browser Company has released Dia, their new AI-First browser in beta, after they halted Arc's development. Dia is based on Chromium.
Dia has an AI chatbot, accessible via URL bar, which can search the web, summarise files, and answer questions related to tabs opened. The chatbot's tone and writing style can be customised.
Opt-in 'History' lets the browser use 7 days of browsing history as context to answer queries. 'Skills' lets users create code snippets for automatic tasks. Existing Arc members get immediate access.
