A first look at alternative iPhone app stores
Despite Apple's compliance with the DMA, Mobivention is currently the only third-party app store operating in Europe, serving businesses with internal app distribution. The real excitement for consumers lies in soon-to-arrive stores like Epic Games Store, Setapp, and AltStore.
AltStore, a new marketplace offering an alternative to Apple's App Store, is poised to launch first. It includes access to Delta, a popular Nintendo emulator.
Apple's costly Core Technology Fee (CTF) and complicated installation process present challenges for these alternative stores. The CTF burdens developers financially, potentially discouraging consumers from exploring other options. Additionally, the multi-step process to install these stores creates friction compared to the App Store's ease of use. While this complexity may not deter tech enthusiasts, it could create a barrier for the average user.

Here's a few lessons in Androi- I mean, Linux distro development, by yours truly!
First thing, kids: Linux kernel is the first thing that"gets loaded". Nope, it ain't the bootloader or all that stuff, its the kernel ofcourse, duh! 1:40
Second: when you make a new pribate app store concept, you do NOT store the app packages! :D 3:25

BREAKING NEWS: BHAROS IS CLOSED SOURCE YOOOOOOOOOOO
Mr. Ayyar's answer to requesting the source code
Apparently, they can't even share the kernel due to... "organizational reasons". Yep, they're ready to violate GPL just for some "organizational" reasons.

BASICALLY INDIRECT CONFIRMATION BY MR. AYYAR HIMSELF THAT BHAROS IS BASED ON ANDROID!
1:50 - App developers can just do HTTP in and HTTP out. ~ Mr. Karthik Ayyar, founder of BharOS.
Wisest words I've ever heard.
