Twitter Open-Sources Its Recommendation Algorithm
As Elon Musk had promised earlier, Twitter has decided to make its algorithm code that it uses for selecting tweets to display on users’ timelines publicly available.
Interestingly, the open-source code does not include Twitter’s ad recommendations or the social media’s training data.
Some early findings include twitter checks if the tweet author is Elon musk, a democrat, republican or power user.

Google Drive has a bizarre file creation limit that nobody knew about
Google has silently enabled a restriction in February this year, asking users to delete files from their Drive account if they're storing more than 5 million files.
Google says it is taking this step as a preventative measure against the potential "misuse of our system in a way that might impact the stability and safety of the system." The spokesperson goes on to say this restriction will only affect a "vanishingly small" number of users.
