TROBLEM: NOT TRIGGERING.

STEPS:


CHECKED COIL IMPIDENCE.........ALL GOOD.


DC JACK LIGHT GLOW OK: ........CONFORMED +3VLP(LDO3) OK.


CHECKED...._3V ALW AND 5V ALW........NOT GENERATED.

HERE EC ON IS USED FOR GENERATE THIS VOLTAGE.

5V_3V_EN....FROM IO NOT GENERATED.

CHECKED IMPIDENCE AT THAT POINT........LOOKING GOOD.

STARTED CHECKING IO REQUIMENTS.

VCC_LPC,VCC,AVCC.......OK

EC_RST......OK

LID#.......OK

ADP_ID.......OK

ACIN...OK

RTC...SECTION...LOOKING GOOD.TRIED WITH ANOTHER CRYSTEL.....NO CHANGE).

FLASHED EC BIOS.......BUT NO EC_ON.

BEFORE CHANGING IO.... APPLIED 3V FROM RTC CELL ....AT 5V_3V EN PIN.

CHECKED....COILS 3V ALW AND 5V ALW GENERATED...ALSO TRIGGERED. DC READING 500 RANGE.

LATER...I USED 10K RESISTOR.....,TOOK 3V FROM LDO 3V.

FOR SAFTY PURPOSE...CUT TRACK EC_ON LINE NEAR IO SIDE.

TESTED LAPTOP 3HR....GOOD.

10K RESISTOR+ AFS KNOWLEDGE= 1K IN POCKET.

Laptop : Dell N4030 DJ1 Capella UMA MB 10212-1
Problem : No Power
DC Ampere Load : 0.001

After Check 19V VIN OK
VREG 3 and VREG 5 OK
But Enable is Not Coming
So Check Near IO there no 3V present at any component
So check in schematic there is found 0 Ohms Resistor who passes 3V LDO to KBC PWR
but can't find position in board so i requested boardview in group and downloaded it and found resistor position
But resistor Not present in board and also written DY in schematic but i tried adding them
then ampere increased to 0.024 and some little bit heating produces nearby standby and io so i removed it
then i search for KBC PWR then i found another source of LDO who creates KBC PWR
found 3V Present on gate of q3704 P Channel JFET which should not be present to make KBC Power
and Properly Analyzed then found the game changer is AC_IN#_KBC
But its track Connected to IO Board then found some dry solders and some rust on connector between main board and io board
then i removed the connector and clean the rust and found some tracks damaged
then re solder the connector and make 2 jumpers then check but it give some fluctuations
then i recheck the connector while connecting. then found the upper side of the connector which is connected to daughter board
the one side is totally swinging and detatched from the soldering by flexible force of the board.
then also resolder it and fit
then check my problem has been solved.Power and Display also Come.

Problem : No Display
DC Ampere Load : after pressing power button 800-1100 and return back to standby 0.011
First i checked physical observation and got 2 tracks damaged near pq243
after making tracks then check amp goes to 600-800-600 then return back to standyby 0.011
then i trace these tracks with the help of boardview
first track was dpwok which connected in between pch and io
and the second track connected pq243 Drain
the drain is connected to
PQ248 (1.5V DC-DC)
PQ225 (3.3V DC-DC)
Q30 (5V DC-DC)
PR347 (15V 1Mega Ohms resistor)
when i analyzed that at stanby mode the output side of resistor is blocked by grounding
after pressing power button voltage release and drop from 6v-2.6v
then i trace the track which was i made which is connected to Q30 (5V DC-DC)
when checking on q30 at standby mode it already leaked 2.3 v from 5V Source to Drain.
then replaced it with same. i got 14V at output side of PR347 (15V 1Mega Ohms resistor)
15v is not fluctuating at other 15v section and resistor its only fluctates at this output side of the resistor
so i can properly analyzed this section with the help of my knowledge given by rafi sir.

so i can truely and logically understand schematic myself.
