Case study challenge 100/100
Lenovo g50-80 (nm-a362) laptop comes in no display issue. From our afs student.
📌 chk with dc supply amp goes to 0.200 approx.
📌 open laptop and chk for impedance, all ok.
📌 now chk voltages 5v ok but on 3v line it shows only 2.4v and other voltages not generate.
📌 now chk for 3v line output any leakage Or shoting but not found.
📌 then chk requirements all ok but @ btst pin it shows only 1.4v and other side 2.4v of capacitor.
📌 so i change capacitor first now chk voltages and 3.3v complete generate. And other voltages also complete.
📌 now plug in dc supply amp goes to 0.500 approx and display comes @ pendrive.
📌 but when I connect screen it's on and auto shutdown in 1 minute without display and amp stuck @ 0.68 and never triggered again.
📌 when it's stuck @ 0.68 I chk with thermal camera found sb ic heatup.
📌 directly change sb ic sy8206b and plugged it again. Display comes @ pendrive. Now I connect screen and Alhamdulillah now display comes perfectly on screen.
📌 Thanks to our schema guru Md. Rafi sir. Sir gave us knowledge from his knowledge, and gave us tricks to repair from that tricks which was invented by him. I complete today 100 case study because of him. Thank you sir thanks a lot.

Open And Clean Motherboard
1st Check all Coil Impedance👍OK
All Voltage Ok
After Pressing Power button laptop when Start 5v is Unstable
Start Tracing 5v i Found 5v_S5 is Low ON U6102 Replace check Capacitors All Ok Remove UsbIc (U6102)And Jumper To
Pin No.2 To 7
Now DC Reading is 0.11 👍
Laptop On Normally and Display Ok
2nd problem After Fixing Laptop Laptop On But No Display Laptop Charging😅
Here it is One Extra Usb Daughter Board That including Lid Switch just Replace it Case Done ✅

Dell Inspiron 3000 series laptop . Part number don't know. Problem is laptop on directly when plugging adapter and power button not working . Remove battery and plugged adapter again laptop on automatically. Remove power button but still it's on automatically . So I thought it's motherboard any parts will be problem . So I started to teardown laptop and when I m trying to teardown it's housing I saw CMOS battery so I remove CMOS battery and put it back in opposite direction for 5 sec and put it in same direction . I plugged adapter and laptop on but no display so I keep pressing power button for some sec and it's forcefully off and it again on and restart for 3 times and display came . Now my laptop on and I started to check by doing shutdown and remove adapter and plugged it back but it's not on after that I pressed power button and it's working as usual . Problem was solved earned some money 💸. I have repaired lots of laptop after joing afs solutions but I m unable to post case studies . Thanks
