Dell n5010 laptop for no display from a card lvl technician ,
Following my Guru's formula of keeping things simple n stupid Opened laptop disassembled all cosmetics cleaned dimm slot n ram module n connect dc (board + screen only) board triggered n dc amp variation normal n display came , switched off n connected keyboard n repeated the testing process putting each cosmetic 1 by 1 , whn I connected DVD-RW there was no display , found the clue for which it came , if I change or disconnect dvdrw from laptop or its connection the card lvl engineer can easily guess the fault n will not get satisfied , opnd dvdrw n chkd pwr connector , found 5v line short , got the clue n found 1 caps short 2 gnd after taking out 7 components on that line (caps position marked in figure above) put 1 cap from scrap board n rest all components of DVD-RW PCB , put back all things , powrd onn n display came , Thanks Rafi Sir for always keeping us blessed🙏🙏🙏

Lenovo Laptop Came for not power on with battery , Working fine with Adopter .

Without being asked customer told b4 this issue his laptop was dead n he gave for repair 2 sm othr technician n after service the technician told him that it will work with adopter only n was charged 1500

Took the challenge n approval of rs1000 for the job 2b done

The earlier technician alrdy chngd charging ic mosfets etc not interested to trace d same directly

As usual following Resp Guruji's lesson keeping things simple n stupid started from battery connector

Smdata smclk tmp ok
No shorting on batt+
In the 4th minute got the clue as there wasn't any contact btwn btry connector +ve and charging coil

Found the culprit in btwn "Fuse"
Simply put jumper fuse n confirm case done , after testing put jumper hidden below physical fuse to keep worth n justify job done (sharing pics below)

📌 Dell 3521 (la-9104p) laptop comes in no display issue

📌 chk with dc supply amp goes to 0.200 and display.

📌 now chk voltages 3v, 5v, 1.5v all ok

📌 now turn to chk vs voltage. 3v, 5vok but 1.5v missing chk on mosfet 1.5v input ok but no output. No voltage on gate. (B+_bias)

📌Now chk gate track on gate only 1.5v is coming but on this track there b+_bias coming through resistor. On resistor at one end voltage ok but another end only 1.5v.

📌 now I removed mosfet and gate voltage generted properly. Change mosfet and alhamdulillah 1.5vs is generate.

📌 Dell n5010 laptop comes in no display issue.

📌 chl with dc supply amp goes to 1.132 but and gives patanjali 7 beep.

📌 problem of graphics section

📌 now start to convert with the help of Respected Rafi sir video.

📌 whole conversion done successfully now assemble laptop and chk display but board gave only external display no internal display.

📌 now chk with only board and screen same issue

📌 chk for any components dry aur not solder properly but not found everything was ok. Try 10k instead of 1m resistor but same, try 2-3 25mhz crystal but again same issue.

📌 after ½ hour I thought about lcd-vdd. Chk that and problem found no lcd-vdd generate

📌 remove 6 leg j-fet and jumper on pin no. 4 to 5 and alhamdulillah. Display was perfect on screen.

💥case study laptop dell 3521 la-9104p problem dead.
💥return from other repair service centre.
💥 plug dc reading is 0.000. Open laptop check all coil value okay cpu coil is 0.001 means have chance.
💥 observe the motherboard find the first mosfet was miss i check gate voltage there is 19v thats not good. Put jumper on first mosfet and 2 mosfet and put ram ic in wrong position. I correct it.
💥now my reeding is 0.006 trigger motherboard goes 0.0012 come back. Now i change 3v & 5v output cap with 330. Before trigger board.
💥 I check 3v & 5v valve now my 5v line short. give 2.4 voltage on it and check heat my ram ic was heat i check ram ic vcc its low value removed ic shorting gone.
💥 Now i replaced ic and value good plug dc reeding 0.007 press power button reeding goes to 0.017 then back again.
💥 I don’t have 3v 5v on coil it’s always voltage then I check check entrip pins no voltage. For testing I remove PQ206 my 3v 5v ready dc reeding is 0.0011 press power button reeding same is .17 and back. Now i trace back EC_ON i don’t have EC_ON voltage.
💥 I note when i press power button and reed goes to 0.0017 that time is i have EC_On & when its back my EC_on 0v. I think i/o problem put new i/o program its with RT809F.
💥 After program i/o same condition. I was too confuse then i thought let’s fix 19v section i remove jumper put mosfet. and check both gate voltage there id 19v on gate its P channel mosfet i trace back gate there is one game changer PQ114 there is no ACIN on its gate.
💥Now i trace ACIN and i check charger ic requirements dc in goes in side but ic nothing come out then ic carefully the charger ic is wrong number 🤯 before change ic i put 3v coms on ACIN my 1st 2nd mosfet gate voltage is 8v that’s good 😌 put new charger ic.

💥Now my dc reeding is 0.005 now i have EC_On 3v and 3v and 5v always. Why i don’t have because my ACIN is goes in side of i/o then i/o put out EC_on

💥 i press power button reed goes 0.137 all voltage okay but no cpu core voltage check core ic requirements all okay but no core voltage now i check uz1 and qc3 one side i have 1.5v voltage other no voltage check both gate 0v there B+_Bias track is miss and RZ18 also mis.

💥 Now i arrange RZ18 its 470k it’s very hard to find. Makes same track and now my voltage was pass and also have core voltage and i also flash bios.

💥 Now press power button reading goes to 0.600 , 500, 400 and 3 time restart. dell 3521 u don’t have display without screen older Engineer also damage screen and cable also.

💥💥💥Its very hard and challenging form to repair this kind of motherboard. It’s possible because of I’m AFS Solution student.
