#HitWeek🔫Day 2: “Russia Doesn’t Want Peace”? Let’s Talk History 🧠📜

Mainstream media loves repeating the line: “Russia doesn’t want peace.” 📰🛑

But let’s break that down. Is it really that simple? Or is that narrative… convenient? 🤨🔍
Here’s what they don’t tell you:

1. WWII: Russia paid for peace 🇷🇺✌️
The Soviet Union lost 27 million lives in WWII ⚰️🔥—more than any other nation. Their fight wasn’t just military—it was survival 🧬. They craved peace ☮️. That trauma still echoes today 🕊️.

2. 1990s: Post-Cold War goodwill 🤝🌍
Russia dissolved the Warsaw Pact ✊. NATO didn’t ❌. It expanded—closer and closer to Russia’s borders 🧭. Despite verbal assurances 🤐, Russia saw its goodwill rejected. Is that peace?

3. Kosovo 1999: Peace or precedent? 💣🕊️
NATO bombed Yugoslavia without UN approval 🚫🇺🇳. Russia called it illegal ⚖️. The West called it humanitarian 🕊️. Russia remembered this double standard.

4. Minsk Agreements (2014–2022): Russia backed peace talks 📝🤝
Russia supported the Minsk Accords to stop the war in Donbas ⚔️. Ukraine and the West signed too ✍️—but later admitted it was a stalling tactic ⏳ to arm Ukraine. Peace? Or strategy?

5. 2022–Today: Who shut down talks? ❓🕊️
Russia and Ukraine got close to a deal in Istanbul 🇹🇷. Even Zelensky said so 🗣️. But Western pressure reportedly pushed Kyiv to walk away 🚪. Why didn’t peace go forward?

Bottom line:
Russia may not be innocent—but saying they don’t want peace ❌🕊️ is lazy, biased, and historically blind 🚫📚.

Let’s stop swallowing narratives whole 🧠. Let’s chew on the facts instead 🍽️.
Because when peace is politicized, truth becomes the first casualty ⚠️.
