POINT PLEASANT, NJ β A U.S. Marine from Point Pleasant who was discharged after refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine wants to go back to serving in the military.
A bill introduced last week by Rep. Chris Smith would clear the path for his return, by requiring top-ranking military officials to reinstate members who were forced out over the Biden administration's vaccine mandates.

In response to this recent announcement, I cosponsored legislation H.R. 7648, which would prohibit the use of Federal funds to establish a so-called Disinformation Governance Board. This legislation is critical to ensure that no Federal funding would be used in any capacity to monitor and censor law-abiding Americans in any way, shape, or form.
