RTP in slots, what is important to know

1.Acronym RTP (Return to player). If the RTP of the slot = 96%, then the slot will return 96% of the lost funds to customers. The longer the distance, the more the slot will ruin the player. Slots do not have memory, and do not remember who they took what from, and what they should return to whom.
2. Each slot has a negative mathematical expectation for the player. Roughly speaking, this is the average value of how much the slot takes in on each bet. Somewhere around 4%. Somewhere around 6%. Somewhere around 10%. Mathematically, this sounds like a negative expected value (-4%), (-6%), (-10%). Pronounced as minus 4%, minus 6%, minus 10%, etc.
3. Slot manufacturers are required to warn players about the odds in many jurisdictions. But the fact is that if you write minus 4% or minus 10% on the slots, this obviously will not contribute to marketing.
4. This is how the term RTP, unknown to mathematics, appeared. They came up with a term meaning 100% plus a negative mathematical expectation. And they called it RTP. Formula RTP=100% + negative mathematical expectation. And for the player everything began to sound more pleasant.

For example, a video slot with a negative mathematical expectation of minus 4 (– 4%). We apply the formula RTP = 100% + (-4%) = 100%-4% = 96% RTP = 96%.
