Commentary
(1) FKLI
Improved sentiment and advances among regional peers helped the FKLI bounce back and end the day higher on Wednesday. Since the improvement in US-China trade relations has reduced fears of a global trade war and is anticipated to enhance risk-on condition in the near future, the market is likely to prolong gains.
(2) U.S. Stock Index Futures
With inflation statistics indicating modest effects thus far, a rise in the biggest tech companies in the world erased the stock market's losses for the year on hopes that tensions around US President Donald Trump's trade war are abating.
(3) FCPO
By continuing to follow the upward trend in the soybean oil market, FCPO closed higher on Wednesday. Positive optimism over US-China trade ties has contributed to the improvement in the CPO market, which in turn has supported higher soybean oil prices.
(4) COMEX Gold
As rising trade optimism increased risk appetite and caused investors to move away from bullion, gold prices fell more than 2% on Wednesday, reaching a low of nearly five weeks.
(5) Crude Oil
As traders awaited official weekly inventory data later in the day, oil prices fell on Wednesday as investors watched a possible increase in US crude inventories.

The FKLI finished Thursday down, capping a three-day winning streak, as banking counters weighed in on the regional markets' negative performance.
(2) U.S. Stock Index Futures
After the most recent economic statistics sparked anticipation that the Federal Reserve will lower interest rates twice this year to avert a recession, Wall Street speculators propelled equities higher while bond yields fell.
(3) FCPO
Due to lower soybean oil prices, FCPO ended Thursday's trading session down, ending a four-day winning streak. The drop was a result of worries about a possible adjustment to the US's renewable biofuel credit program.
(4) COMEX Gold
