A common logical fallacy used by people in alternative healing circles is appeal to nature, wherein people assume that everything that comes from nature is good and everything that comes from a factory or from allopathy/synthetic supplements are bad. This type of thinking is not in line with truth as there are many artificial and natural compounds made in labs which can really help someone in their healing journey or in managing their symptoms, and there are many natural compounds as well which come from nature but can cause serious harm to the body.

Besides, have you ever wondered which type of loving God would create a reality where beings have to kill and murder other beings to sustain themselves? Is this really the nature that most of us have come to love?

A slippery slope argument (SSA) is an argument in which a party asserts that a relatively small first step leads to a chain of events culminating in some significant (usually negative) effect

This type of logical fallacy is often used by people who don’t believe in the existence of viruses. They say that if we were to accept that viruses exist, then we’d automatically have to accept that lockdowns forced testing mask & vaccine mandates are justified.

This is a logical fallacy because there are many other rational scientific grounds based on which we can resist these tyrannical measures even if we acknowledge the existence of the virus
