▶️ Advertising is a mirror of society. What are people's needs? What are some big issues? What makes good money? Let's take a look:

🔹London's helicopter ambulance doesn't get enough funding (=money), so they turn to (=ask) the public for help.

🔸Islamic Relief is a Muslim charity (=doing good) organisation. There seem to be a lot of Muslims around.

🔹People have a soft spot for (=like) dogs, so much so that they are willing to donate (=give money to help) money for dogs.

🔸Why urge (=tell sb to act) people to vote? What could be the reasons for not voting? Are people just lazy or dissatisfied?

🔹Suicide seems to be a problem. How come? Isn't life really great in Great Britain?

🔸Brits are a humorous bunch (=group of people), you can tell by the puns (=playing with words), although this "muffin" one is a bit low-key (=low level).
