💡 This thing was a French fry holder for cars. In the US, French fries are typically sold in a format that perfectly fits the size of the holder. French fries is American English. Americans may buy French fries on the go (=while driving or walking) at a DriveThru (=fast food restaurant where you pick up food in your car) McDonald’s and then consume them in the car while driving. The British word is chips, but in Britain they are thicker, usually wrapped in thin paper and eaten with vinegar rather than ketchup.

❌ Perhaps you think it is:
Is the boss in his cabinet or on the street?

✅ Well, it should be:
Is the boss in his office or outside?

❓Why?

❗️ Cabinet exists in English but doesn’t have the meaning of room. The main meaning is group of ministers in a government and a secondary meaning is a slightly old and formal word for cupboard, especially one in which important things are stored.

❗️ On the street means literally on the street and nothing else. From the Uzbek sentence it’s not clear where exactly the boss is, the correct translation is therefore outside.
