'toward the continuum' — a composition of a modern author Dolores Catherino for a music instrument that uses 106 intervals in an octave

polychromatic music uses intervals less than 1 semitone (1 tone=1 note, 1 semitone = 1/2 note). this notation system consist of not only note & alteration symbols, but also colour (from red to violet) to express the current pitch of a note in cases when intervals are very small (for example 1/64, 1/72, 1/106)

Every Noise at Once is one of Glenn McDonald's projects, who creates chart sites based on some statistics

Every Noise at Once is an algorithmically generated scattering diagram of music genre space. it is based on data tracked and analysed by Spotify. so far, the algorithm has analysed 6291 specific genres of music. wow.

site creators writes, 'the calibration is fuzzy, but in general down is more organic, up is more mechanical and electric; left is denser and more atmospheric, right is spikier and bouncier.'
