These spectrum analyzers simply display RF activity on a given frequency, without further processing they do not detect or identify drones. They do nothing to solve fiber optic or AI drones. Spectrum analyzers generally provide information overload to undertrained troops.

For these to be effective, basics of radio theory and drone RF must be instructed at all levels of the U.S. Army.

I've been experimenting with "Fauxx," an open-source Android privacy app that fights behavioral profiling by feeding trackers plausible fake behavior rather than merely blocking them.

It runs synthetic searches, visits websites, performs DNS lookups, loads ad-heavy pages, and maintains rotating fake “personas” with coherent device identities. The idea is to make your genuine interests harder for data brokers and advertising systems to distinguish from deliberately generated decoy interests. You can optionally tell it your actual demographics/interests so it generates activity deliberately unlike yours; that information remains encrypted on-device. It has no accounts, cloud storage, analytics, or telemetry.

The F-Droid “Full” edition includes ad-profile pollution, which the Google Play version omits because of Google policies. Current F-Droid version 0.7.1 requires Android 8+.

In short: an ad blocker tries to prevent surveillance; Fauxx tries to make the resulting surveillance data unreliable.
