TIL that there are so few Imax 70mm screens because many of the parts needed to build them no longer exist, along with the plans being lost. Between Oppenheimer and the Odyssey, Imax attempted to repair or rebuild as many new projectors as they could, and could only increase the number by 11.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Politicians in Berlin are looking for legal solutions to cutoff the AfD's access to classified information in case they win they win the next federal election

The measures according to their proponents are justified because the AfD "will leak" said classified information to Russia and China

According to French investigative and satirical weekly Canard Enchaรฎnรฉ, such concerns were enough for Franceโ€™s domestic intelligence agency to notify its German counterpart last week of its plans to withhold sensitive information about far-right extremists and Russia should the AfD govern in Saxony-Anhalt.

However the biggest fear of the German establishment is that the AfD would use the classified information and control over Germany's intelligence agency (BND) to find out the BND spies inside its ranks.

The AfD was put under surveillance by the government in Berlin the moment it was labelled as "extremist" and thus a "threat" to German democracy.

Fears of classified NATO information ending up in Russian hands through the AfD are "well founded" according to the Austria-based Centre for Democratic Integrity who says that the AfD is the "biggest pro-Russian party in Europe" now that Viktor Orbรกn and Fidesz were ousted from power.

There are precedents for European countries restricting access to intelligence when dealing with far-right parties that are seen as cozying up to Russia. One notable example is Orbรกn's Hungary, which France accused of โ€œbetrayingโ€ the EU by leaking information to Moscow, just weeks before the longtime nationalist leader was voted out of power.

Austria also came under intense scrutiny after the rightwing Freedom Party (FPO) joined a coalition government in 2017 and secured the interior ministry portfolio, leading some European partners to place limits on intelligence sharing.

โ€œThe perception at the time was that Austrian security and intelligence services were deeply penetrated by Russia,โ€ said Ross. โ€œThose in Germany who argue in favour of excluding AfD from information flows often point to the Austrian case, warning that Germany could also lose its reputation as a trustworthy ally when it comes to intelligence-sharing mechanisms.โ€

Such limitations could pose logistical challenges should AfD continue its ascent at the regional level, warned Ross, pointing to the specificities of Germanyโ€™s federal system. Just days after triumphing in Saxony-Anhalt, the party also topped elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, underscoring its dominance in swaths of the country.

In the event of a major crisis, โ€œkeeping AfD-run states in the dark could create holes in operational plansโ€, he said. โ€œBecause while the army and the defence of German territory are within the purview of the federal government, the police forces needed to secure roads, convoys and power stations are the responsibility of individual states.โ€

Another long-term problem, added Lomas, is that such limitations breed mistrust between security services, elected officials and the broader public, while also posing problems of democracy

โ€œEven if you find a practical way to work around the AfD, doing this is corrosive at a time when public trust in liberal Western democracies is already under threat,โ€ he said.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿคฉ Russia has revived the Perimeter system, designed to guarantee a retaliatory nuclear strike if the countryโ€™s leadership is eliminated, The Sunday Times claims.

According to a joint investigation, journalists examined nearly 2.5 million military procurement documents and concluded that the systemโ€™s key bunker, Object 1335 (โ€œGrotโ€), is located inside Mount Kosvinsky Kamen, rather than Yamantau, as previously assumed.

The system, known in the West as โ€œDead Hand,โ€ is intended to launch special Sirena/Sirena-M command missiles to communicate with Strategic Missile Forces units and transmit orders for a retaliatory nuclear strike if communications between those units and the countryโ€™s leadership are disrupted.

The report claims that modernization of the facility involved purchasing approximately 22,000 tonnes of steel, enough for three Eiffel Towers, along with 56,000 tonnes of cement and at least 13,000 tonnes of sand. This is roughly equivalent to two modern Moscow metro stations together with their tunnels. The complex comprises at least 24 separate underground chambers, with approximately 2.5 km separating its exits underground.

Investigating the DEW hypothesis: Judy Wood interviewed Sep 19 2026

This interview with Judy Wood is โ€“ I believe โ€“ her most recent summary of her ongoing hypothesis that an unknown โ€˜directed energy weapon'(DEW) destroyed the 3 WTCs on 9/11.

Weโ€™re posting this as a sort of intro to a series weโ€™re planning that will look at the DEW hypothesis (or maybe phenomenon is a better word), and its impact on the Truth movement, both evidentially and politically since its inception almost exactly 20 years ago.

Weโ€™ve never made much secret of the fact we didnโ€™t give this hypothesis too much credit. But I donโ€™t want to make thisโ€ฆ...
