At RIMPAC, SD-3001 launched two JAGM missiles while operating with US Navy assets.
This demonstration is the first of a series of planned integrations ahead of the launch of Saildroneβs largest and most advanced USVβthe Saildrone Spectre. Measuring 52 meters (170 feet), the Spectre is designed to accommodate much larger, containerized mission sets and payloads. Future capabilities for this platform include the integration of the Lockheed Martin Mk 70 launcher and various towed arrays designed to support anti-submarine warfare operations.
Spectre, the first of which is under construction, will weigh around 300 tonnes with full payload, and capable of speeds of up to 30 knots. The USV features a concealed payload deck that accommodates up to five 20-foot containers or two 40-foot containers, making it well-suited to carry any number of the combat-tested effectors produced by Lockheed Martin, thereby satisfying a wide range of mission sets and operational requirements. Spectreβs two variants, with or without the patented Saildrone Wing, offer optionality between near-silent transits for acoustically sensitive missions or a low profile for high-speed kinetic strikes.
The 20-meter (66-foot) Surveyor USV can operate autonomously in the worldβs harshest environments, remaining on mission and on station for months at a time. The Saildrone Surveyor utilizes radar, EO/IR, ML-based detection, passive acoustics, and AIS to maintain continuous situational awareness alongside the newly integrated JAGM dual launcher.

In 2008, molecular analysis of collagen from a 68-million-year-old T. rex confirmed its closest living relative includes Gallus gallus domesticusthe(the domestic chicken). We took this living dinosaur relative and genetically manipulated them to grow faster and bigger just so we could eat them.

"Did Oliver Heaviside remove part of Maxwell's theory? Do scalar waves exist? Are there electromagnetic waves that travel without transverse electric and magnetic fields? This talk examines the origins of these claims, from Maxwell's original equations and Heaviside's vector reformulation to modern electromagnetics. This talk explores where longitudinal fields appear in real radio systems, how they differ from the "scalar waves" of popular literature, and why understanding them can improve our intuition about antennas, propagation, and energy flow."https://aetherczar.substack.com/p/video-did-heaviside-delete-maxwell

π’ Footage from the Zaporozhye direction, reportedly from the sector of Russiaβs 291st Motor Rifle Regiment, offers a striking illustration of how mass Starlink availability continues to shape the battlefield: a Ukrainian fixed-wing drone appears to be carrying a Starlink terminal despite the aircraftβs high probability of being lost.
Ukraine has received more than 50,000 Starlink terminals from international partners. At that scale, they can increasingly be treated as expendable communications hardware β fitted even to drones with short life expectancies while replacement terminals keep UAV control, data links and battlefield communications functioning despite losses.
The advantage, therefore, is not only Starlinkβs communications quality but its sheer abundance. Destroying one terminal is relatively easy; degrading a network where another can quickly replace it is considerably harder.

Javier Mileiβs administration has been showcasing Patagonia to Silicon Valley executives, culminating in OpenAIβs recent βStargate Argentinaβ announcement. The focus of this piece, Emiliano Kargieman, is the man actually developing OpenAIβs Argentine project and boasts significant ties to United Statesβ military and intelligence, NASA, Palantir and the Silicon Valley stalwarts who helped privatize space.
Here, we detail how Kargieman has said the quiet apart loud about how data center construction isn't about "making jobs", it's about making money, and how he has suggested that OpenAI is a front for the accelerated build-out of AI infrastructure (financed by an intentional debt bubble). He has also suggested that Stargate Argentina will eventually be used, not by OpenAI (which Kargieman anticipates will collapse when the AI bubble pops), but by the Argentine State.
In looking at Javier Milei's policies with respect to AI domestically in Argentina, the "digital transformation" of the Argentine State - which Stargate Argentina hopes to further advance - is largely for "predictive" behavioral control of its population. We also touch on some of the likely motivators of Peter Thiel's move to Argentina and where he fits into all of this.
