I would guess as many as seven of ten people I see in the grocery store are their people. And while that is not a huge percentage of the total population of the locality, when it happens at store after store during a single outing, all different people in each store, and then day after day, it adds up. Google, Apple, and Microsoft have either built or are planning facilities around the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center east of Reno — and residents, who are already paying drastically increased rates, are now learning their energy supplier is simply redirecting its output.
