Fire Point has unveiled the Freyja anti-missile defense system and its FP-7.x interceptor missiles.

The company describes the project as a joint pan-European anti-missile shield.

Freyja is designed to offer capabilities similar to the Patriot air defense system while being more affordable and widely available.

⚡️”I hope that over the next 12 months we will see FREYJA in action,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“The threat posed by ballistic missiles will only grow worldwide. This is one of the main consequences of the wars involving Russia and Iran. That is why FREYJA must become a reality,” the president said.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine expects the number of ballistic missiles around the world to increase, and there must be “at least enough” anti-ballistic systems to counter the threat.

“This is exactly what we are working on. Europe can become a global leader in the production of high-quality anti-ballistic systems, free from political dependence. Europeans themselves will be able to decide how many systems Europe needs and where they should be deployed. This would create an entirely new strategic reality. Every European-made system would strengthen our collective defense and provide different parts of Europe with a solid foundation for security,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
