This is exactly how 'Henry Nowak' happened : This photo of police DEI training was leaked years ago.

They do not need to prove hatred.

They do not refer to a legal definition of hostility.

Unfriendliness to migrants can be interpreted as racial hostility. https://x.com/Tom_Rowsell/status/2065422820234993879

Why bicker online when a good conversation is so much more productive? James sits down with Robert Frederick, host of The Hidden Life is Best, and wonders why Robert had to be quite so disobliging about him recently on Substack. But all is OK. Their friendship is quickly renewed and they enjoy a marvellously stimulating chat about why Shakespeare is popular when heโ€™s so dark, disturbing, misogynistic, and so obviously pushing an elite gnostic agenda. They take a deep dive into Hamlet (a psychopathic serial killer) and A Midsummer Nights Dream (paedophilia; bestiality) and enlarge further on the author of so many of our ills, the evil genius that was Sir Francis Bacon.

โ›ด๐Ÿ’ชUkraineโ€™s Defense Forces struck more than 27% of Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov over four days, according to Defense Express.

There are about 120 Russian vessels operating in the Sea of Azov, and Ukraineโ€™s Special Operations Forces reportedly struck 35 of them over four daysโ€”more than a quarter of the fleet. During the night of July 9 alone, another 14 vessels were reportedly hit, marking the highest daily total since the operation began on July 6.

According to Defense Express, satellite imagery indicates that most of the targeted vessels are dry cargo ships and tankers.

Analysts said the key development is the expansion of Ukraineโ€™s Middle Strike campaign into the Sea of Azov, which serves as a major logistical route to occupied Crimea.

Following the attacks, Russian authorities reportedly accelerated inspections of ships transiting the Kerch Strait or canceled them altogether, altering maritime traffic patterns in the region, the publication said.

TIL that Rome had a trade deficit with India nearly 2,000 years ago. Roman historians complained about a "drain of Roman gold" because Romans were obsessed with Indian spices and luxury goods, making it one of history's earliest recorded trade-deficit complaints.

Two Empty Aircraft Carriers

The USS Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier has been moved to within 250 kilometers of Iranโ€™s coastline and Hypersonic, anti-ship missiles โ€” with NO DESTROYER ESCORTS to protect it. A SECOND Aircraft Carrier, the USS George H.W. Bush (our newest carrier) has now taken up a position even CLOSER to Iranโ€™s coastline: 170 kilometers from Iranโ€™s [โ€ฆ]

TIL that the period of the Five Good Emperors during the Roman Empire was not a bloodline. The good emperors were barely related to each other if at all, and they practiced meritocratic heir adoption. This was broken by Marcus Aurelius having an eligible dynastic male heir, Commodus.

โ˜ข๏ธ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿ”‹ Lightweight cells powered by nuclear waste could drive tomorrow's drones

DARPA program aims to create a 30-year battery minimally viable prototype by early 2027.

โ€œSolar cells directly convert sunlight into electricityโ€ฆOurs directly convert radiation into electricity,โ€ said Stafford Sheehan, CEO and founder of Project Omega, which describes their radioisotope power sources as mini-generators that replace traditional batteries.

The power cells could be used in โ€œany application where a battery dying is a pain point,โ€ Sheehan said. โ€œOne example is on satellites: if you lose power on a satellite, you lose the satellite, it's goneโ€ฆif your batteries die and you don't have any sort of backup power.โ€

โ€œAt a high level, we take nuclear waste, we recycle it into two products: one is fuel for reactorsโ€ฆthe other are power isotopes, so isotopes you can use to power things,โ€ Sheehan said.

Radioisotope power sources have been used in everything from smoke detectors to space systems. But Project Omega hopes to do it on a larger scale.

โ€œThere are over 100,000 metric tons of nuclear waste sitting in the 52 reactor sites around the country; so there's plenty of nuclear waste currently. The federal government gets sued for billions of dollars every year just because they haven't dealt with the nuclear waste,โ€ Sheehan said. โ€œIt's very valuable to have a battery that lasts.โ€

Omegaโ€™s power cells consist of a solid state, or โ€œchunk,โ€ of isotope that will be layered with the semiconductor to generate power. They also work in extreme temperaturesโ€”something that would benefit military operations using unmanned systems in harsh environments.

โ€œWe have been using these radioisotope power systems in space for decades,โ€ Sheehan said. โ€œWe're just taking the systems that we use for space and we're using a different isotope,โ€ Strontinum-90, which is less hazardous than the Plutonium-238 isotopes used in similar systems.

โ€œOver the next 18 months, the program will focus on reducing technical risk, testing system performance under realistic conditions, and generating the data needed to inform future development and transition pathways,โ€ a PNNL official wrote in a statement to Defense One. โ€œKey challenges include improving energy conversion efficiency, validating long-term reliability, managing radiation effects, and ensuring safe, secure handling and deployment.โ€
