"TSME is a protection feature that encrypts the data stored in memory, making it unusable to physical attackers. AMD initially added this feature to its high-end CPUs, then later extended it to lower-end CPUs. Eventually, the feature became a given, leaving lower-end chip users assured in its availability as part of the chip package. However, without prior notice, AMD appears to have scrapped the security feature in these processors.
"According to the Ars report, the company's only official reaction to the matter โ not counting the GitHub discussions โ is an email response stating that TSME "is a security feature only applied to PRO CPUs as part of AMD PRO Technologies," notably the first time the company has publicly stated such a restriction, despite the feature having worked on consumer chips for years. However, it remains unclear whether the disappearance is an intentional policy decision by AMD to reserve TSME for Pro chips or an unintentional regression that was introduced in AGESA 1.2.7.0, a newer firmware release."

๐ ๐ธ๐ป Nayib Bukele:
The key to saving the environment is not looking backward, itโs moving forward.
I realized this the first time I visited Italy twenty years ago. Everything was clean and green. The rivers sparkled. The lesson for me was obvious: the answer is not underdevelopment. The answer is progress.
When China was poor, the air was so polluted that people could barely see the blue sky. Today, blue skies have returned to their cities. Development does not only create wealth, it also provides the resources needed to restore and protect the environment.
Some environmentalists want us to preserve every aspect of our biodiversity, including the mosquitoes for example, so that researchers can fly in once every ten years from their universities (which build particle accelerators and billion-dollar laboratories with their pocket money), study our ecosystems, and count how many people died from dengue outbreaks.
They want to buy our air through carbon credits. If carbon credits were such a great deal, they would be selling them to us, not the other way around.
Cleaning every river, lake, and water source in El Salvador, and ensuring they remain clean and sparkling, would cost roughly $12 billion. Where is that money supposed to come from without economic development? Carbon credits?
The path forward for our country is the path of Japan and Singapore, not the path of the Congo.

๐บThe Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces' Military Command "Khatam al-Anbia":
"In connection with the obvious treachery and violation of obligations by the USA regarding the non-fulfillment of the first paragraph of the memorandum on the cessation of war, as well as in response to the continuous and systematic violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime in southern Lebanon, mass killings and forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of defenseless people in this land, and also in connection with the refusal of the Israeli occupation forces to leave the territory of southern Lebanon, it is announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be closed to the passage of ships.
It is noted that this step is the first response to the treachery of the enemy. In case of continuation of aggression, further steps will be planned and taken to compel the enemy to fulfill its obligations."

โฃDECOYS
The Scud Hunters Book: Chapter Six
On January 21, the Director for Operations of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lieutenant General Thomas W. Kelley, held a press conference where, among several topics, he discussed Iraqโs SCUD attacks on Israel and Saudi Arabia, which continued unabated despite the massive infusion of coalition airpower which, according to General Kelley, were working โbig timeโ to locate and destroy the Iraqi launchers. General Kelley cited bad weather as one of several factors hampering the allied counter-SCUD effort, noting that the Iraqi use of SCUD decoys was also โsomewhat of a problem. I canโt quantify it.โ But Kelley did acknowledge that the Iraqis โdo use decoys, and they use them well.โ
