๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโŒ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท- A second covert Israeli base has been discovered operating in Iraq's western desert, according to senior Iraqi and regional officials cited by the New York Times, following the Wall Street Journal's earlier reporting of the first.

โžก๏ธ At least one of the bases is believed to have been operational for well over a year, with Israeli forces thought to have begun preparations as far back as late 2024, and at least one was used during a 12-day war against Iran in June 2025.

โžก๏ธ The second base came to light following the killing of Bedouin shepherd Awad al-Shammari, 29, on March 3rd, after he stumbled upon one of the sites and contacted Iraqi military authorities. Witnesses say a helicopter pursued and fired upon his truck until it came to a halt in the sand.

โžก๏ธ The images above are of Mr. Al-Shammari's truck, which was found along with his body by the Popular Mobilization Forces a few days ago.

The Stupidity of Greed

According to the court documents, in approximately 2014, David TR wanted to give his sister-in-law, who was working for the company, a big raise. But he felt that his wife and son who sat on the board, wouldnโ€™t approve it. So, David Tran came up with an idea that he was going to make a [โ€ฆ]

"Some 20 company bosses had joined Trump on the trip. But there seem to have been no plans or tasks for any of them. No deals were made, no contracts were signed.

"Trump offered to lift the U.S. blockade on the sales of some older NVIDIA AI chips to China. China declined as it now makes its own chips with similar characteristics.

"The Chinese side spoke of a โ€œnew positioningโ€ and a โ€œconstructive strategic stabilityโ€ as major outcomes of the talks.

"The โ€œnew positioningโ€ is seeing the U.S. and China as equals with China being objectively in a better position."

"The Thing, also known as the Great Seal bug, was one of the first covert listening devices (or "bugs") to use passive techniques to transmit an audio signal. It was concealed inside a gift given by the Soviet Union to W. Averell Harriman, the United States Ambassador to the Soviet Union, on August 4, 1945. Because it was passive, needing electromagnetic energy from an outside source to become energized and active, it is considered a predecessor of radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology.[1][2]

"The Thing consisted of a tiny capacitive membrane connected to a small quarter-wavelength antenna; it had no power supply or active electronic components. The device, a passive cavity resonator, became active only when a radio signal of the correct frequency was sent to the device from an external transmitter. This is referred to in National Security Agency (NSA) parlance as "illuminating" a passive device. Sound waves (from voices inside the ambassador's office) passed through the thin wood case, striking the membrane and causing it to vibrate. The movement of the membrane varied the capacitance "seen" by the antenna, which in turn modulated the radio waves that struck and were re-transmitted by The Thing. A receiver demodulated the signal so that sound picked up by the microphone could be heard, just as an ordinary radio receiver demodulates radio signals and outputs sound.

"Its design made the listening device very difficult to detect, because it was very small, had no power supply or active electronic components, and did not radiate any signal unless it was actively being irradiated remotely. These same design features, along with the overall simplicity of the device, made it very reliable and gave it a potentially unlimited operational life."

"The trajectory of popular media since the 1990s has greatly favored the portrayal of the weak, scorned, and ultimately disposable fathers of Mrs. Doubtfire than the flawed, but daring warrior shepherds of Hook, and we are worse off because of it. Where Mrs. Doubtfire heralded the temporary triumph of the longhouse, Hook is an intriguing sign post on an alternate path to a world that might have been. And so I heartily recommend watching it with your kids for Fatherโ€™s Day."

An 1829 article in Nilesโ€™ Weekly Register reported that the Rothschild family was attempting to purchase Jerusalem or parts of Palestine from the financially struggling Ottoman Empire. The piece suggested that wealthy jewish financiers could help restore jewish settlement and influence in the region, with some contemporaries even imagining the reestablishment of a jewish homeland centered around Jerusalem.

They Want You Allergic to Meatโ€”And They're Not Joking - Beefnews

Western Michigan professors just argued it's morally permissible to let tick bites make you allergic to meatโ€”because it might "improve your behavior." This isnโ€™t satire. Itโ€™s bioethics by bioweapon.

No, thatโ€™s not satire. Itโ€™s a peer-reviewed paper published in Bioethics on July 22, 2025, titled:

โ€œBeneficial Bloodsucking: On the Moral Permissibility of Tick-Induced Meat Allergyโ€

The authors? Parker Crutchfield and Blake Hereth, both faculty at Western Michigan University

Their claim? That the spread of Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS)โ€”a tick-borne allergy to mammalian meatโ€”might be ethically justifiable, even morally desirable, because it reduces red meat consumption and therefore greenhouse gas emissions.

Their words:

โ€œThe bite of the lone star tick spreads alpha-gal syndrome (AGS), a condition whose only known treatment is the avoidance of all mammalian meat. Thus, they eat less red meat, which is an improvement in their capacity for moral behavior.โ€
