โ‰๏ธ๐Ÿ“ฐ What the world media are saying about the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran:

โ–ช๏ธThe Washington Post: "There's no guarantee that an agreement with Iran will be reached in the next two weeks. But Trump has his own reasons to put an end to the conflict, including a nearly twofold increase in gasoline prices and a drop in ratings ahead of the midterm elections in Congress";

โ–ช๏ธTime: "The White House was caught between two fires, approaching a large-scale war and at the same time trying to get out of the conflict";

โ–ช๏ธBloomberg: "The markets breathed a sigh of relief. The ceasefire solved the problem that Trump himself created";

โ–ช๏ธForward: "Trump has cornered himself... Trump is looking for any way out of this war that will allow him not only to avoid responsibility, but also to declare his superiority. One of the ways he can do this is to blame the Israelis";

โ–ช๏ธDaily Telegraph: "When Iranian diplomats meet their American colleagues at the negotiating table on Friday, they will have new trump cards. The Americans, on the other hand, seem to be in the same position as at the time of the first meeting";

โ–ช๏ธBBC: "The fate of Iran's enriched uranium is unknown. And even if Iran completely opens the Strait of Hormuz free of charge, its ability to control this key geopolitical node is now more obvious than ever... It's hard to imagine that Trump would actually agree to even one of these conditions...";

โ–ช๏ธSky News: "This looks like a complete surrender by Trump";

โ–ช๏ธLe Figaro: "The negotiations, which are due to start on Friday, promise to be difficult. The 15 American proposals and 10 Iranian demands are largely incompatible";

โ–ช๏ธIndian Express: "This tactical retreat is due to the political need to avoid a split among Republican voters ahead of the midterm elections in Congress, where the Republican majority is hanging by a thread";
Stephen Miller:

โ€œWe do NOT know the names of ANY SNAP recipient in the state of Minnesota. We just get a blank check. We have asked the state repeatedly and tried to compel the state unsuccessfully to turn over their SNAP enrollment rolls so we could ascertain such basic facts as, are these people even legally eligible to receive these benefits?โ€

โ€œAnd the state has refused, absolutely, categorically refused,and in fact the state has spent millions of dollars in court for the singular purpose of trying to prevent the [federal government] from ascertaining the identity of a single SNAP recipient in the entire state of Minnesota.โ€
๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Chinese Researcher "Dies" After "Alleged Federal Questioning" at University of Michigan
:.
A Chinese national/research assistant at the University of Michigan (Danhua Wang) died on March 20 after "falling from an upper level" inside the George G. Brown Building; the university police are investigating the incident as a "possible act of selfโ€‘harm."

Chinese officials, including the Chinese Consulate in Chicago and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have demanded a full U.S. investigation, claiming Wang was subjected to โ€œhostile questioningโ€ by U.S. federal law enforcement about his research work shortly before his death โ€” drawn international attention about "national security concerns and the treatment of Chinese researchers" at U.S. universities; U.S. authorities have not confirmed a causal connection between the questioning and Wangโ€™s death.

USA just demonstrated Leonidas, a microwave weapon that took out 50 drones with a single burst of energy.

No missiles, no tracking. One pulse, and everything in range falls out of the sky.

You thought the drone swarm is the defining weapon of modern times? Someone just built the economic counter to it.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ A lightning strike hit a Russian rocket just a few seconds after launch - and it calmly continued its flight ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ๐Ÿ›ฐ๏ธ

This was the launch of the "Soyuz-2" from Baikonur in 2019: just 12 seconds after ignition, the rocket was hit by a lightning strike in storm clouds, but it gained altitude without any malfunctions. The protective systems deflected the charge, the telemetry remained stable, and the mission with GLONASS satellites proceeded as planned.

Later, engineers confirmed the absence of damage, once again proving the reliability of the "Soyuz".
