The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, struck enemy positions on the drilling rig “Sivash.”

On the night of April 6, Ukrainian Navy units, supported by the Unmanned Systems Forces, targeted the enemy units on the rig, significantly weakening Russian positions in the Black Sea.

The platform had been used by the enemy for surveillance, communication relay, electronic warfare, and short-range air defense, allowing them to monitor Ukrainian movements toward Crimea and create a buffer zone protecting the peninsula and Black Sea Fleet ships.

The rig also hosted elite Russian special forces and stored weapons, including anti-tank missile systems and counter-drone and counter-boat equipment.
