Construction of the RC Cathedral in Liverpool was interupted by WWII, and the original St. Peter's-inspired design was no longer financially possible. So, they built this soaring modernistic design on top of the medieval-style vaulted crypt. An architecturally interesting juxtaposition.

TIL that before trees existed, Earth had giant fungi. Around 420 million years ago, before forests existed, some of the tallest living things were actually massive fungi. Some grew over 8 feet tall and dominated the landscape in the Devonian period.

3GW vs 5GW

Itโ€™s becoming increasingly clear that Trump and his generals think theyโ€™re fighting World War II. Col. Macgregor observed that they appear to be preparing for a massive 96-hour bombing operation next week to provide cover for the insertion of a few thousand light infantry. What this could possibly accomplish appears dubious; the plan is being [โ€ฆ]

"Trauma-based mind control techniques, according to the authors, originated in research into multigenerational Satanist families conducted in Nazi Germany by the Schutzstaffel (SS), under the personal oversight of Heinrich Himmler. The research was resumed in the United States no later than 1951 under Project BLUEBIRD, which morphed into ARTICHOKE and MKNAOMI. The aim of these projects was outlined in a memo dated January 1952 that asked, โ€œCan we get control of an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will and even against fundamental laws of nature, such as self preservation?โ€ In 1953 Allen Dulles took over as director of the organization he had designed with the help of the top Nazi intelligence chief, General Reinhard Gehlen, and brought the various mind control projects under the umbrella of Project MK-ULTRA, headed by Dr Sydney Gottlieb."

COVID vaccine "safety" update: Study of over a million kids finds myocarditis only in the vaccinated.

The study featured children aged 5โ€“11 and adolescents age 12โ€“15.

"Myocarditis and pericarditis were documented only in the vaccinated groups"

"The reduction in risk of COVID-19 hospitalization in children (โˆ’0.02 for first dose vs. unvaccinated) was lower than the increase in risk of pericarditis (0.22)"

So, COVID vaccines were 1000% more likely to give a child heart failure than protect them from COVID hospitalization.

"The rates of heart inflammation (myocarditis and pericarditis) in under 18s reported by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency were 13 and 8 per million after first and second doses, respectively, compared with our estimates of 27 and 10 per million, respectively."

For adolescents, the paper found that the risk of myocarditis and pericarditis was lower than the reduction in risk of COVID hospitalization.

However, for healthy people under the age of 40, COVID had a 99.9993% survival rate, and ~90% of COVID deaths were among those with preexisting medical conditions (presumably, the remaining ~10% had undetected medical conditions). Even for healthy people under the age of 70, the survival rate was still 99.98%.

A healthy adolescent had practically zero risk of dying from COVID and now millions of them have been given potentially lifelong heart conditions.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ทโš”๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Nearly one month into the 3rd Gulf War and Iran hasn't used its most sophisticated missiles and the eastern missile bases

Iranโ€™s defence ministry unveiled its newest missile, the Qassem Basir, in May last year, with the fiery claim that it would allow Iran to strike enemies โ€œwherever they are and whenever necessaryโ€.

With a manoeuvrable 500kg warhead, fitted with an optically guided โ€œterminal seekerโ€ which cannot be electronically jammed, it is one of the most advanced missiles in Iranโ€™s arsenal.

Yet nearly a month into Iranโ€™s war with Israel and the US in the Gulf, it has not seen combat.

Analysts say it is among a handful of very advanced missiles that have largely sat out the war this far because Iran is waiting for the right opportunity to use them.

Tehranโ€™s strike last week on the Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas facility in Qatar has underlined the risks for many Gulf states. The attack used several missiles equipped with manoeuvrable warheads, according to a person briefed on the attack.

โ€œTehran may be holding some of its most capable systems in reserve, though inventories of these newer missiles are likely limited,โ€ said Jim Lamson, a senior research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies and a former CIA analyst.

Lamson said the advanced missiles that have yet to see action include the Qassem Basir, the Etemad โ€” another manoeuvrable missile based on the older Emad missile โ€” and the Fattah-2, based on the earlier Fattah-1. According to Iranian claims, the Fattah-2 boasts a hypersonic glide vehicle, which would be very difficult to intercept.

The Raad-500, a manoeuvrable short-range missile, has so far not been used in the Gulf, Lamson said, based on publicly available data.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโŒ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ The US is bypassing Switzerlandโ€™s Patriot payment freeze by redirecting F-35 funds through a shared military sales fund, making the move effectively โ€œuseless.โ€

Over โ€œa low three-digit millionโ€ CHF (100M+) has already been shifted, forcing Switzerland to cover new gaps in its F-35 budget.

Swiss officials say the situation is โ€œvery unsatisfactoryโ€ and warn it is โ€œdamaging trustโ€ in US arms agreements.

So, when Switzerland stopped paying for Patriot, the U.S. just took money from another Swiss project (F-35) instead.

Switzerland said: โ€œWe wonโ€™t pay.โ€

The U.S. said: โ€œWeโ€™ll take the money anyway, from another account.โ€

๐Ÿ›ข๐Ÿ“‰ France says that oil output will not return to pre-3rd Gulf War levels before 2030

France's Finance Minister Roland Lescure revealed on Wednesday that between 30 and 40 per cent of Gulf refining capacity has been damaged or destroyed by Iran's retaliatory strikes, leaving a shortage of 11 million barrels a day on global oil markets.

Lescure warned it could take up to three years to restore damaged facilities, and several months to restart those that were urgently shut down.

With fossil fuel supplies under severe strain, both the UK and Germany signalled on Wednesday that the energy crisis is accelerating their green transitions.

This comes as European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde assured the continent that the ECB has several options for dealing with the inflation shock triggered by the US-Israeli war on Iran, and vowed that policymakers would not be "paralysed by hesitation".
