The Scythian Cup is a world-famous gold piece found in the Kul-Oba mound (near Kerch, Crimea, Ukraine) with images of the Scythians (Northern Black Sea region, second half of the fourth century BC).

It was discovered in a woman's grave and is rightfully considered an exceptional find of ancient jewelery art. The relief frieze depicts three paired scenes and the figure of a Scythian warrior pulling a bow. This find was a real discovery: the paintings on the vessel gave us for the first time an idea of โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹what the Scythians looked like.

The goldsmith, probably a Greek, conveyed with impressive ethnographic accuracy the features of the appearance, clothing and armor of the Scythians. Such a realistic reproduction of details leaves no doubt that the artist knew well the life of the local "barbarian" population. The master managed to recreate the original image of the brave lords of the steppes. According to one of the versions, the scenes presented in the cup can serve as an example of Herodotus's story about the origin of the Scythians.

โœ‹ The fall of the House of Rothschild? Magazine share sale and French office police raids

๐Ÿ‘‰ Lynn Forester de Rothschild has sold her familyโ€™s entire 27% stake in British magazine The Economist, Axios reports. What's the full story?

๐Ÿ”ด The Economist reaches 1.25 million subscribers โ€“ selling out may cost its former owners sway over political discourse

๐Ÿ”ด The magazine was established in September 1843 and the Rothschild family owned a significant minority stake in its parent group since 2002

๐Ÿ”ด Axios calls the move "the biggest ownership shake-up for the 183-year-old publication in a decade"

Who is Lynn Forester?

โ™ฆ๏ธ Forester is a New Jerseyโ€“born telecommunications magnate who married Sir Evelyn de Rothschild in 2000

โ™ฆ๏ธ Forester served on former US president Bill Clintonโ€™s National Information Infrastructure Advisory Council from 1993 to 1995 and was also a donor to both Bill and Hillary Clintonโ€™s political campaigns

โ™ฆ๏ธ She is a director of the Estรฉe Lauder Companies, owned by Ronald Lauder โ€” a Zionist friend of Donald Trump and father-in-law of Kevin Warsh, a potential future chair of the US Federal Reserve

Epstein scandal

๐ŸŒ While Lady de Rothschild hasnโ€™t given details about the deal, itโ€™s possible the Jeffrey Epstein scandal played a role

๐ŸŒ She introduced the late sex-trafficker to Prince Andrew in the early 2000s, The Telegraph reported in August 2025, quoting Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell

๐ŸŒ Epstein was also connected to Ariane de Rothschild, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Group

๐ŸŒ The Paris offices of the Edmond de Rothschild Group have recently been raided by police as part of a probe into former French diplomat Fabrice Aidan โ€“ another Epstein associate

๐ŸŒ Aidan is accused of aiding the corruption of a โ€œforeign public official,โ€ the Wall Street Journal reports

๐ŸŒ Arianeโ€™s close links to Epstein and Aidan have tarnished her familyโ€™s public image

๐ŸŒ Now in the cross-hairs of journalists and investigators, the Rothschild brand may be losing influence

โœˆ๏ธ Airlines have been warned that they will face jet fuel shortages as soon as next month, risking flight cancellations to long-haul destinations at the end of the busy Easter holiday period

Oil traders expect to see shortages of jet fuel from the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz within the coming weeks as reserve supplies are run down and not replaced

This week, Vietnam became the first country to warn of possible flight cancellations from April after China and Thailand announced they were halting exports of fuel to maintain their own supplies

Other countries are expected to follow suit in the coming days with industry experts warning that airlines could be forced to stop serving some long-haul destinations because they may not be able to get the fuel for the return journey

Britain is also vulnerable to potential disruption if the conflict continues as the majority of the countryโ€™s imported jet fuel comes from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates

๐Ÿ’ข Odd language concerning the Ballroom being built.

He states that many Presidentโ€™s needed it but now โ€œitโ€™s no secret the military wanted it more than anybodyโ€.

Trump says โ€œit was supposed to be secret but it became unsecret because of people that are really unpatriotic, saying thingsโ€

It is very interesting to note that just weeks ago, referring to this as a military based project was considered a conspiracy theory of a certain type.

Now Trump says it out loud.

TIL Costco has a company policy that no regular item will be marked up more than 14% over cost & no Kirkland Signature item will be marked up more than 15% over cost. Costco runs "very lean", with overhead costs at 10% of revenue & profit margins at 2% (e.g. it has no PR dept. & buys no outside ads)

The Iranian negotiators are very different and โ€œstrange.โ€ They are โ€œbeggingโ€ us to make a deal, which they should be doing since they have been militarily obliterated, with zero chance of a comeback, and yet they publicly state that they are only โ€œlooking at our proposal.โ€ WRONG!!! They better get serious soon, before it is too late, because once that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it wonโ€™t be pretty! President DJT

Googleโ€™s Android Sideloading Will Now Require 10 Steps And A 24-Hour Wait

The ten-step process includes a mandatory 24-hour waiting period for something Android users have done with a single toggle since the platform launched.

Google has detailed what it calls an โ€œadvanced flowโ€ for installing apps from unverified developers once mandatory developer registration kicks in later this year.

The process requires enabling developer mode, surviving multiple scare screens, restarting your device, and then waiting a full day before you can do what you used to do freely.

Thatโ€™s the concession. The original plan, announced last August, was blunter: no more installing apps from developers who havenโ€™t handed Google their legal name, address, email, phone number, and in some cases a copy of their government ID.

After developers and users pushed back , Google said it would preserve a path for โ€œpower users.โ€ This is that path.

Hereโ€™s what the path actually looks like. Tap your build number seven times to enable developer mode. Navigate to Settings, find Developer Options, scroll to โ€œAllow Unverified Packages,โ€ and flip the toggle. Answer a screen that asks if youโ€™re being coerced. Enter your PIN. Restart your phone. Wait 24 hours. Return to the menu. Scroll past more warnings. Choose โ€œAllow temporarilyโ€ (seven days) or โ€œAllow indefinitely.โ€ Confirm you understand the risks. Now you can install apps.

Thatโ€™s ten steps, including a mandatory overnight delay, to do something Android users have always been able to do with a single settings toggle.

Google isnโ€™t hiding that the friction is intentional. Matthew Forsythe, Googleโ€™s director of product management and app safety, promised a โ€œhigh-frictionโ€ process earlier this year, and he delivers.

Each additional step is a calculated bet that some percentage of users will give up, decide itโ€™s not worth it, and stick to verified apps. Thatโ€™s what โ€œhigh-frictionโ€ means. Fewer people sideload.

... The same logic that justifies the waiting period also justifies, in principle, restricting sideloading further, requiring government ID to unlock it, or removing the option entirely. The justification doesnโ€™t have a natural stopping point, and the friction doesnโ€™t have a floor...

Keep Android Open, the developer-led campaign opposing the verification program, looked at the advanced flow and called it what it is: not a solution. The full installation process runs through Google Play Services rather than the Android OS itself. That means Google can modify, restrict, or remove it at any time without an OS update and without any user consent. The friction level today is not the floor. Whatever access Google provides, Google can take away, tighten, or redesign without asking.
