The aftermath of the massive Israeli strike late on the evening of March 18 on the main Iranian Navy base on the Caspian Sea in Bender-Enzeli. As far as can be seen in this photo, there are two destroyed Sina-class missile boats and, I think, the missile ship Hamzeh, the former Shah-era yacht Shahsavar built in 1936, which was turned into a warship after the revolution and later armed with four anti-ship missiles.

NEW โ€” Technate, Ohio: How Leslie Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein Built The Silicon Heartland

Ohio has become the new destination for Big Tech data centers and AI infrastructure. The state owes much of its rapid transformation into the so-called โ€œSilicon Heartlandโ€ to the now vast array of public-private partnerships pioneered by the stateโ€™s richest man, Leslie Wexner, and his former money manager and fixer, Jeffrey Epstein.

From Cรณndor dreams to imported rockets: Why South America never became a missile power?

Argentina and Brazil once pursued ambitious missile programs, but political pressure and nonproliferation reshaped South Americaโ€™s military technology path In the final decades of the Cold War, South America briefly appeared poised...

Musk unveils record chip-building plan

Elon Musk took the stage in Austin last night for what he called a "profoundly important announcement โ€ฆ the most epic chip-building exercise in history, by far." His goal: producing 1 trillion watts (1 terawatt) of compute power per year, most of it deployed in space.

Israeli military historian Martin van Creveld put it bluntly back in 2003:

" We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air forceโ€ฆ We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.โ€

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโš”๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท "The cost of replacing the first four days' worth of munitions would be $20bn-26bn.

The problem, however, is more to do with scarcity than cost. America is thought to have used more than 300 Tomahawk cruise missiles in the opening days of the war, but the Pentagon had planned to buy just 57 new ones in the current fiscal year.

There have been no deliveries of THAAD interceptors since 2023 and the Pentagon has not placed any new orders this year. A puny 39 interceptors are slated for delivery in 2027โ€”six years after they were ordered."

The problem is that Carlsonโ€™s overall performance is completely implausible and at odds with his own background: those facts suggest that he probably works for the CIA.1 As I wrote previously, the very first place Carlson applied to work was the CIA. And in doing so he was following in the footsteps of his father, who was a propagandist entrenched in the post-JFK deep state that at the time, and subsequently, has been destroying democracy in the United States from within, leaving only the facade. The story is that Carlson was rejected and decided to become a journalist instead: the more likely truth is that he was accepted but deployed as a deep cover asset into the journalism community. https://politicaleconomist.substack.com/p/tucker-carlsons-deceptive-cia-persecution
