The Holy Lance (also known as the Lance of Longinus, the Lance of Mauritius, or the Spear of Destiny) is the oldest piece of the imperial regalia of the kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. It is said to contain a piece of a nail from the cross of Christ (the Holy Nail). According to legend, the lance belonged to Mauritius, the leader of the Theban Legion, or, according to other sources, to the Roman centurion Longinus, who used it to verify the death of Jesus, which is why it is also said to be soaked with his holy blood.
At times it was the most important piece of the insignia, later it was replaced by the imperial crown. The tip of the lance was kept in a cavity in the crossbeam of the imperial cross. A ruler who possessed this lance was considered invincible. It was a visible sign that his power came from God and that he was the representative of Christ.

Subsequently, the American press reports that an Iranian missile strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia damaged 5 US Air Force refueling aircraft that were on the ground.
The aircraft were damaged, but not destroyed, and no one was killed as a result of this strike.

City officials expect to reach a โwater emergencyโ within months and run out of water next year. That would halt jet fuel deliveries to Texas airports, hike gas prices and trigger a local economic disaster without precedent, former officials say.
Without significant rainfall, Corpus Christi is headed for a โwater emergencyโ within months and total depletion of the system next year, according to the cityโs website. โThe impacts are going to be felt tremendously through the state, if not internationally,โ said Sean Strawbridge, former CEO of the Port of Corpus Christi Authority, the nationโs top port for crude oil exports, in a 40-minute interview Thursday. โThis should be no surprise to anybody. We were talking about this over a decade ago.โ
Other current and former officials, alarmed at what they call a lack of preparations, have suggested the potential for an economic crisis involving mass layoffs, disruption of fuel supplies and billions of dollars in emergency spending to avoid an evacuation of the city.
โThe water shortage in the Coastal Bend is the result of a historic five-year drought,โ it said. โCurrently, the City of Corpus Christi has $1 billion in City Council-approved and funded water projects underway to address our water needs. The City remains committed to ensuring water security for the more than 500,000 residents and our commercial and industrial customers.โ
Depletion of this regionโs reservoirs would lead to โcontrolled depressionโ for the local economy, โmass unemploymentโ and โindustrial total shutdown,โ according to a two-page report by Don Roach, former assistant general manager of the San Patricio Municipal Water District, which supplies many of the regionโs large industrial water users.
That includes refineries operated by Flint Hills Resources, Valero and Citgo that provide jet fuel to Texas airports and meet much of the stateโs daily demand for gasoline.
Besides the historic drought, much of the water is being consumed by the oil and plastics refineries who need to cool down the equipment to prevent overheating and explosions hitting their machinery. The Corpus Christi city authorities tried to supplement the water supply by building desalinisation plants but local NIMBY opposition saw these plans scrapped in 2019 and nothing has been done to fix the city's water issues since.

Harvey Weinstein looked like the Jeffrey Epstein of Hollywood, and he just suddenly emerged into that position shortly after he and his brother were working the streets, offering bars a deal to stick flyers under windshield wipers at the local train stations. There were no utopias under this conspiracy.
