Total surveillance of internet users
Internet users in Australia now need to share their drivers licence and facial biometrics and โprove their ageโ. This is all under the guise of โprotecting youthโ. In reality, this is total surveillance of all users internet activity. There are serious privacy and data integrity implications of submitting sensitive and valuable personal information, whether it's ID like a driver's licence or a clear shot of one's face, for verification.
Canada is monitoring this situation closely and is considering introducing this feature.

The newspaper drew attention to the words "perechnytsa", "pereanem", "pabodoll", "spinobaz", "frigoria", "opalny", "snopevy", and "muonosvod" ( "ะฟะตัะตัะฝะธัะฐ", "ะฟะตัะตะฝะฐะตะผ", "ะฟะฐะฑะพะดะพะปะป", "ัะฟะธะฝะพะฑะฐะท", "ััะธะณะพัะธั", "ะพะฟะฐะปัะฝัะน", "ัะฝะพะฟะพะฒัะน" ะธ "ะผัะพะฝะพัะฒะพะด" - encrypted words that are incomprehensible to anyone, even Russians) that were heard on UVB-76.
The tabloid suggests that the frequency of the radio station's transmission of codes usually increases during global crises, which this week "raised fears of a larger-scale war".
"The Russian "Doomsday Radio Station" has sent up to 15 mysterious messages in the last week, raising fears of a possible third world war," the publication states.
