Let Experience Be Silent

When more relevant information gainsays its conclusions. Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a former Commanding Officer of the 1st Royal Tank Regiment, was certain that the British wunderpanzers were going to wreak havoc on the Russian lines back in June. As a former tank commander, I can say one thing for certain: Putinโ€™s demoralised conscripts are [โ€ฆ]

โ—๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ About the destruction of the first British Challenger 2 tank, you need to understand the following.

โ–ช๏ธFirstly
, the main problem of these tanks was their number. The vehicles are used to a limited extent and, apparently, as part of mixed armored groups, where each "British" is covered by Soviet T-64BV tanks. The command of the 82nd Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not risk releasing Western vehicles alone, but there is no benefit from cover.

โ–ช๏ธSecondly, Challenger 2 tanks do not demonstrate unique survivability and combat effectiveness on the battlefield. The vehicles burn in the same way as the Leopard 2 tanks. From this we can conclude that the American M1A1 on the battlefield will face the same fate.

โ–ช๏ธThirdly, the dispatch of the British tanks of the 82nd Airborne Brigade into battle speaks of the use of all available APU in this section of the reserves. If British tanks (and Western heavy armored vehicles in general) are destroyed, and the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not bring tangible territorial results, then the question of the advisability of foreign supplies of such weapons to Ukraine will inevitably arise.

In addition, it is noteworthy that the tank (as well as escort vehicles) was destroyed by artillery, and not by other tanks in a contact battle. This once again confirms the fallacy of the choice of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was assumed that this technique would be used as the main means of striking and breaking through the defense, but, apparently, this scheme failed somewhere at the very beginning.

In a potential signal of shifting attitudes on how the war in Ukraine is covered in the legacy media, the New York Times is starting to slowly acknowledge the endemic corruption that has been a defining feature of the former Soviet state as officials have admitted that money for military contracts has โ€œvanishedโ€.

The #BantheADL hashtag campaign has succeeded in prompting Elon Musk to publicly affirm the need for the ADL to be reined in. If he bans it from Twitter, then Twitter will be cancelled. If he sues it, Elon Musk will be cancelled. But whatever happens, nationalists win, especially in the long term.

This article is free to all.

Musk now has a decision to makeโ€”he needs to shit or get off the pot. On the one side, he has his billions of dollars to comfort him at night; on the other, he has a chance for true immortality, the chance to make his mark on history in a way that no one else has in almost a century. Which will he choose? What kind of stuff is he made of?

China Lays the Legal Ground

I think itโ€™s safe to expect Chinese corporations to be seizing foreign-owned property in Hong Kong and Taiwan soon, and taking steps to abandon the international arbitration system given these remarks on a new law that strips foreign state immunity by the Foreign Ministry. "Exodus Begins": Thousands Attempt To Flee Burning Man

For the more than 70,000 attendees stuck at the Burning Man festival in the northern Nevada desert, a break in the weather and drying toxic alkaline lake bed will likely spark an exodus of 'burners' around noon.

Around 1123 ET, Burning Man Traffic posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Gate Road remains too wet & muddy for most vehicles to safely navigate out of BRC this morning, but is drying."

The event organizer warned an "Exodus likely to begin around noon today." It said all burners need to listen to "BMIR 94.5 FM, GARS 95.1 FM" for updates.

The chaos began on Friday evening when burners were told to shelter in place and conserve food, water, and fuel when the dried-up alkaline lake bed transformed into a muddy hellhole. By Saturday, the situation deteriorated, and organizers closed the festival's roads and gates.
