Aergo v2.1.0 RELEASE 🆕

We've updated the Aergo Mainnet to version 2.1.0 with a number of upgrades and new features in store.
Peers can now be assigned a "role" as:

◙ Producer
◙ Agent
◙ Watcher

This makes network configuration easier and stable. We'll detail further in an upcoming article along with exciting news about our Merkle Bridge.

We have word that the QPU is being finalized over the weekend, and will be released very soon - It is in essence ready, but needs final approval and sign off's from the Aergo BoD in the next review. The wait is almost over folks!

Furthermore, sometime in the next two weeks marks something special for the Aergo team and our community.

👉 Aergo Version 2.2.1 Released

In this version:

The Query & Transaction execution performance has been improved.

A new transaction propagation policy has been deployed. With this, the number of temporary orphans under heavy loads have been significantly reduced.

A transaction includes the hash of the chain ID. The latter is used to verify transactions by the mempool; a transaction that has an invalid chain ID hash will be rejected. Now, the mempool uses the chain ID from the next block that's been created (Not from the current best block).
