i already have to use fucking adobe software and i literally spent half of the time on the class trying to open that thing because issues with the proprietary software license

the urge to recreate this old project that i made on unity years ago but on godot and actually make it optimized

behold my solution for minecraft texture packs that try to recreate modern textures with the original (and superior) art style: i literally coded something on godot to help so instead of having to make hundreds of textures by hand u can try to mess around with those parameters, Is it perfect? couldnt this be done with pre existing software? maybe but it is fun

demonstration (the folder i input in is the folder of a texture pack i'm making for my modpack)

i love how u can make the modern textures look like the original artstyle pretty easy by just applying a noise filter and sometimes darkening the edges when it is not a full block
