WHY US?
- AAA organises one of the BIGGEST health screening event among all the other LCIPs!!! Last year we had 700 participants in our October’23 screening in Toa Payoh. We were also featured on Lianhe Zaobao News
- H.E.A.L workshops is our flagship programme - where we encourage our elderly participants to take charge of their own health! From sleep, exercise, diet and even digital literacy, we do the GROUNDWORK and get involved in inspiring our elderly to change their habits!! Last year, we even organised an outing to Botanic Gardens to bond with our elderly!!
- Work together with our project mentor A/ Prof Matthew Chen Zhixuan - Lead of Geriatric Oncology @ NUHS for RESEARCH opportunities!! This year, we are working with Dr Keerthika - a PHD student in Dentistry - to make an index to assess oral health frailty! —> Anyone can do research in AAA, you dont have to be research comm specifically!
- Cross paths with students from other faculties, NUS Med, Dentistry, Nursing and even polytechnic students in AAA! Interschool networking
