When you specify an area code, the price for the resulting rental automatically gets increased 20%. Carrier selection works similarly - you can choose vz (Verizon), tmo (T-Mobile), att (AT&T). This selection also bumps the price by 20%. We recommend that you try different carriers if you often run into an issue where service tells you the number was used before.
